Remarks

You can get a seat in this college by writing CET and also from COMEDK. Application forms are available in college. You can get an application form from the college and fill. There is a cutoff around 10K-15K for Computer science in CET.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 1 faculty for every 25 students. Faculties are well qualified. Very good teaching and modern classroom facilities are available in our college. There are 3 internals and 2 assignments for one semester and semester exams are a little bit difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

There are plenty of internship opportunities we can get from our college. Many companies like Bosch are giving internship opportunities. There is an assessment test for internship election and there is an interview for selection.

Placement Experience

Students can get placements from the 7th semester. There are many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra who visited the college. Around 60-80% of students get placed and the highest package offered is 10 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is 88500 per year and those students who will stay in the hostel should pay 70000 for a hostel in the first year after the first-year hostel fees are 50000. Students can apply for an SSP scholarship and will get 18500 per year.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest in our college named "KALOTSAVA" and held in the month of April or May. And Brach fest is held every year for every branch. There is a central library in our college. Two cultural groups are there namely AIKYA and SAMSKRUTI.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Recently JP Morgan visited in our college for summer internship no students got selected due to low skill,l. I our college the highest package was 34LPA in 2023 and average package was 7LPA. The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Placement Experience:

Students here are eligible for placements or internships right after the 3rd year. Mit Bengaluru is planning to make its students placement merging with its parent clg Mit Manipal. Currently none of the placement record is there as the first batch is in 3rd year only.None of the companies have visited for placement b ut companies like IBM, TCS do come for their talks. I have no plans as of now what will I do after a degree.
