I thoroughly enjoyed my tenure in JSS university, Mysore and the experience was once in a lifetime which helped to shape my future both in my professional as well as personal life.

Entrance Preview

i have given CET to get admission in this college and Government Job options and also opportunity for higher studies both in India and abroad is more than other science courses. I scored 90.88% and it is oldest and most prestigious

Internships Opportunities

There is a internship opurtunity for student and it is excellent. It enriched both theoretically and practically. I also gained field experience. All these helped me in my professional life.

Campus Life

Campus life was full of energy. Many cafeteria and food stalls are open and provide cheap and hygienic food to the students, Hostel life is excellent with 24 X 7 internet facilities, state of the art lab, lots of extracuriculur activities like soccer, cricket, tennis

Faculty of the college was as per the standard of IIT. Faculty members were well qualified and helpful. They encourage students and guide them through proper career counselling which ensure their confidence and bright future

Likes

It's neat and disciplined campus, it provides various courses of post graduation, there's seprate campus for PG courses
Staff of psychology department is very friendly and has good teaching skills and staff are very supportive and understanding as well
It gives real time knowledge about the courses, hosts various workshops and events, activities as well,

Dislikes

The campus is not that big compared to other colleges
The main library is bit far from the PG campus, it's in UG campus which is 800 meters away from PG college
There's no cafeteria in the PG campus, it's in the UG campus it self

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 because it includes all relevant topics which are necessary for both counselling field and clinical field The psychology course here offers specialization in both counselling and clinical both fields that's why I chose this The carriculam is contains relevant topics, every subject has practical aspect to it, syllabus covers all of the psychology concepts which are necessary 2 internal are conducted and final sem exam in the end , with moderate level of difficulty questions

Likes

First of àll I liked the lab facilities ànd the lab environment
Ànd the teaching stàffs are so good . They cleàr our doubts whenever needed
We have department library which is good and most of the books are available.

Dislikes

The central library is a little too far it takes half an hour to reach there and it could wase our time
The càmpus is à little big one so we will hàve to walk so much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Especially I like my subject (physics). From PU, I'm got intrest by my physics lecture and in BSc our physics are teaching very so nice so my interest goes on increasing. Now when I came to this university our physics department is the best from my point of view. Physics is universe and it's everywhere and experience every bit of physics phenomenon in our daily life

Remarks:

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university. I filled two separate forms for two different subjects and appeared for two separate entrance tests. Students are called for counselling based on their test scores.

It's one of the best college for clinical nutrition and Dietetics. I dint take any entrance and I scored 80℅ in my under graduation . It was an walk-in interview for people who got shortlisted and then fees payment ensures admission .

I wanted to pursue my masters in a reputed top college because it was helpful for my career. And then I got to know about JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research. I got to know about it's NAAC grades and it was a reputed college in the Royal City Mysore. The process of applying in this college is not so complicated. First one should go and search the college in google and then apply for admissions then we can select the courses offered by the college then after clicking on our desired course we need to fill the details of our 10th board marks scored by us and then 12th board marks sheet we need to upload and then our bachelors degree mark sheet and we need to upload in the site.
