Remarks

I did not write any exams. I applied through the management quota. The process was smooth and the donation was given. For my course, the donation was 1 lakh, and the placement offered was ok considering it is a tier 3 college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was based on the anna university syllabus. So it was an old syllabus. The concepts were totally covered by the teachers. The syllabus was mostly theoretical so it was not that Great. The placements were good.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered to students by certain companies only. So it is nothing to mention much about. The internship is paid internship only. The students get paid about 10 to 15 thousand. The experience is good.

Placement Experience

The college provides placements for students with packages ranging from 4 lakhs per annum to 9 lakhs per annum. The placement coaching can be improved a bit for better results in the placement. The companies which visit include Wipro, TCS etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for food and transport are compulsory. So it comes to around seventy thousand rupees. The bus facility is nice as it covers a wider area. The scholarship is provided for certain people who belong to specific castes.

Campus Life

The campus was similar to all affiliated colleges. We should come in proper uniform with a clean shave and formal shoes. There are various clubs and societies like IEEE society and Rotract club. The network you gain from these companies is good.

Interview Experience

I did not face any group discussion round or written test. I just went to the administration office and they talked about the donation and fees structure and then they sent us to the office room where we negotiated the fees.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

At NIT Trichy, students are eligible for placements from the 7th sem. Big companies like MIcrosoft, Amazon, TI, Deloitte, L&T and many more visit. The highest package goes above 40 LPA, average for ICE is 15-16 LPA. around 90% + get placed with good roles.

The placement process in our college generally starts from the 7th semester, although training sessions, aptitude tests, soft skill programs begin as early as the 5th semester to prepare students. LIFE AT VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.

About my Heaven College

I didn't apply for any colleges as i want to study in Jeppiaar engineering college. I got offers from rajalakshmi engineering college but it was very far for me so i went to jeppiaar engineering college for my dream to be fulfilled. Admission process will only be done in the addmision front office there will be Ram for guiding you and collecting fees where they will give receipt for your payment.
