Thadomal Shahani Engineering College Honest Review

I first gave CET exam and got 96.2 percentile in it. That year's cutoff was 95.7. I got Computer Engineering in the 2nd round. Then I came to college for admission and it was super easy and fast. I am from Nashik and the biggest problem was searching for a Hostel. Yes, our college doesn't have a hostel. I am OBC so I had to give 1 lakh fees for my FY.

Our college is under Mumbai University. It conducts 2 internal exams and 1 end sem exam every semester. Also, they take vivas and practical exams. You won't face any difficulties in Internal Exams because they don't want any student to have KT which is not good I think.

Maximum students go for higher studies in foreign because most of the students in our college are super rich. But the placements of TSEC are very good. Like, this year (2022) highest package offered was 1.12 crore per annum by Amazon UK (but it was off campus) and the campus highest package was 21 lacs per annum.

For General candidates, One year's fee is Rs 190000. I am from the OBC category so my fee is Rs 106700. Our college has a Sindhi minority quota. I have seen people in the 40 percentile and still studying in the Computer Engineering department in our college. Tfws, Sc, and St fees are Rs 24000 per year.

Campus? Our college doesn't have any campus. All we have is just the parking area below our two buildings where you have a canteen. But, the college is in Bandra West Area which has everything a college student would need for having fun. The college has several committees like IETE, Codetantra, RCTSEC, etc. Sports facilities are not that good because our college doesn't even have its ground to play. Our college borrows other college's grounds.
