Remarks

I took the UPTU exam and through counselling, I got into the information technology branch in the KIET Group Of Institutions. But now the admission is made through JEE Mains result. The admission process was super smooth. There is no eligibility for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love the Networking part that why I choose information technology. The faculty in every KIET Group Of Institutions department is just excellent. Each and every faculty member helps when you need it. The teaching method is simple and great. Every concept is perfectly explained.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 142999 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a separate sector that is always working on internships so that students can easily avail themselves of the internship in their 2 or 3 years of academic. Both stipend and non-stipend internships are provided.

Placement Experience

Placements are great. Every computer science and information technology student got offers and more than half have more than 2 offers. Different companies visit the campus with packages ranging from 3.5lak to 44 lakh. The average packing is around 6 lakhs. Nearly every student got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally, there is no fees hike policy but around 2000 may get an increase every 2-3 years. A loan facility is provided by the college so you can avail of that if needed. You can also apply for the UP Government scholarship that is provided to the students.

Campus Life

Multiple clubs are there so according to you, you can choose any club. A great library is there where around every book is present. Nealy all the sports are played like football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc. Different feats are held like cultural, sports, and different online and offline hackathons.

Hostel Facilities

There are AC and Non AC rooms. Extra charges are applied to the AC rooms. Every month the menu of mesh is updated and there is a mesh committee for the proper food quality. You have to choose when to come for admission and whether you will choose for hostel or not and according to that seats are allotted. After 1st-year seats are allotted according to academic percentage basis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
