They say that they require UPSEE or AIEEE rank for admission plus the 12th marks. However, you can simply go there with your docs and take admission. It is very simple. I chose this college because I could not get admission in Delhi. I wanted to remain in NCR for my Bachelor's degree.

The course curriculum is adequate for the stream chosen. It is not anything different from other engineering colleges. You will find that the college is highly focused on academics and they run the place like a strict school. No delays are accepted in classwork or practicals submission. The college ensures that the syllabus is completed on time.

The placement cell does not exactly help with this. You can get one on your own for summer trainings.

The placements are not strong but regular campus recruitment drives take place here. Big companies have come here to hire engineers so one must make the best of these opportunities. Average package is 4 lakhs

The college fest is called Effusion. The college has regular events organised by the NSS. They do give you a chance to do non academic activities.

You will find that they are very strict. Their highest priority is to maintain discipline​ and this makes life at DGI very drab. You can get bored a lot with their rules and regulations. They have good facilities like laboratories and the college itself is very large and well built. Just take advantage of this and leave the rest. Because of their strictness, there is no ragging concept on campus.

Most students who require hostels go outside. They either live as PG or they choose private hostels. That way you can get some freedom. Living outside will cost about 70-80K per year.

They have practicals assessment and they exams at the end of every semester. These are very strictly conducted. The exam fees are 6000 per paper I think. Please cross check with the college.

They have good teachers and also many visiting faculty members. They teach well and finish the syllabus before time. However, the problem with the management staff is that they change staff members very quickly so you don't get to have the same professors for related subjects over the course of 4 years.
