Remarks

I took the Nata exam in 2018-19 and got admission in this course .normal criteria for getting admission is combining the marks of 12th and nata. the Nata exam has a syllabus of general knowledge of mathematics, aptitude and logic and for 12th science stream is compulsory.

the faculty member is experienced and highly educated and team in a good manner, and easy way. we also have a system of mentors. faculties are very helpful and frank. they motivate us in a good way.

the fee structure is a bit costly for the open category, it's 62k but for other category students, there are a lot of scholarship facilities available. NASA also provides scholarships for students whose financial condition is not good.

Campus Life

the campus life is good. the environment is lively and joyful. the library is full of good books and magazines from all kinds of genres. the classrooms have boards and projectors. we have one playground and one gym.

Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

The campus of the college is good. It has a separate building allotted to architecture, having all amenities. The faculty is also supporting the Admission process is pretty similar to other colleges and it becomes easy with the help of staff.
