My most happening campus life

I got selected through OJEE score and overall carrier marking. Then the personal interview is taken by the professor of OBS. The interview was good and the faculty member was supportive and he made me understand the need for the course in the corporate world.

I had chosen the PGDM course on the specialization of port shipping and logistics and this year as per the requirement of corporate, we are going to an additional certification course in digital marketing. OBS also p dual specialization. Faculty members are very supportive. The faculty-student ratio is 1:15. Every 3 months has an examination as is a trimester pattern. There is no chance to cheat on the examination, their exam was under CCTV surveillance and Dean used to invigilate on Google meet from his cabin. Honestly, we are studying for our exams, and believe me, nobody can cheat a bit here.

As OBS provides an internship, I had done my internship in MAX retail, link road, and Cuttack. The role offered to me is to attend to customers to help them out, arrange stock in the store, billing, helping with visual merchandising. my project was customer buying behavior and satisfaction".

From 5 the trimester, we become eligible for placements. The companies visiting OBS regularly are Exim logistics, Gati, and Bluedart. More than 80% of students as per my knowledge are getting placed. The average package is 450000 to 500000. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in a good company with a good package, as per the requirement I can go for further studies.

The fee structure is very affordable as it is 310000. OBS also provide merit scholarship based on prior carrier score. As I am a current student, so I had done my summer internship in MAX Fashion without a stipend.

We are celebrating all the festivals like the Holi feast, Diwali, Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja, convocation, freshers, cricket match, and Swachh Bharat along with movies with friends and faculty members. The classroom environment was hygienic. And we have a digital library along with a physical reference Library.

The hostel is within the boundary of the main campus, so we have to follow the rules and regulations of the hostel, but as per our course requirements, we have to go to a market survey to take permission. During my summer internship, I was allowed to come late to a hostel with permission. The food was very good at a lesser price.

A personal interview was taken by one of the faculty members of OBS. Questions are based on a behavioral approach. And faculty guide made me understand where I was going wrong and corrected me. I got clarity on the PGDM course and somehow prepared myself for the same.
