Yes, there is an entrance exam. All information and application form is available online on their website. According to my knowledge, the course is eligible for 55% in all respective subjects in the +2 class. I don't have any knowledge about the reservation. If the admission process could be faster it would have been good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Bachelor in arts (economics) because I am keen to study the principles of the way money, business and industry are organized. All faculty are well qualified, exams were conducted timely, and it was not hard to pass exams. The faculty is excellent according to my experience and the information I got from the pass-out students.
Internships Opportunities
You will get minimal and minuscule opportunities to start.IBM Daksh came to hire and offered a CTC of Rs 1.44 LPA. They conducted their rounds, shortlisted and finally gave the offer letter to some 15- 20 candidates. There were a couple of other companies. It's possible that nowadays the number of organizations visiting campus has increased and most of them have similar CTC to offer from Rs 1 LPA to Rs 1.5lpa. The industry was BPO- mostly. The roles were - inbound/outbound/email support/chat support.
Placement Experience
Last semester students become eligible for placements, and many well-known companies visit our college for placement such as Wipro, ICICI and Bajaj. There are many offers made to the students who are well qualified. According to my information, the average package is around 4 lakhs and the highest package is somewhere 7 lakh. don't have much information about the percentage of students getting placements but around 70-80% are eligible for placements. I plan to complete my master's degree in economics.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to my information, the internship is provided to the interested student and the striped is given according to their work and roles. I do not have much information because I haven't got any internship. I don't think there is any job available on campus. Yes, we do get financial assistance from the college as well as from the Jharkhand government. The bachelor of arts ( economics) fee is approx 71000 per year.
Campus Life
Yes, the annual fest is conducted every year. All the necessary books and journals are available in the libraries. Extracurricular activities such as sports, excretion, and educational tours are conducted regularly. Yes, many social groups are also formed to help students and usually participate in the club.
