The eligibility criteria for bachelor of computer application (BCA) is 60% and there are some more options like curriculum activities, scout and guide, and many more where the students can get extra 5%marks. The admission process is quite simple, I just go to the official website and there is a link for applying for online registration. I visited that link fill up all the details with the documents and finally applied. After some days, they screen the candidates and declare the list of selected students on their website. The selected students now have to go to college for submitting the documents, and payments, and complete some formality. and it's done. Overall the management is so helpful and sweet.

Well, the Bachelor of Computer application (BCA) is a great course, it opens up many opportunities for students to choose their careers. During the 3 years, we learned a lot of subjects and develop the core fundamentals of technology which is the future. like Artificial Intelligence, Web Designing, Graphic Designing, Visual Basic, C, C++, Core Java, HTML CSS, DBMS, Algorithms, and many more. I choose BCA because it opens up various paths as I belong to the commerce stream and according to old people we only have two options either going for CA or becoming a bank manager. But no, it's not like that, by doing BCA we can apply for bank manager by pursuing masters, go for various government jobs, and guess what we can also go to MNCs and become software engineers as well, and there are more opportunities which we can explore during the course. There are 6 semesters in 3 years and the subject level is upgraded every semester.

The college will not provide internships, they can allow the students to opt for internships and help the students in suggesting where they have to go and how. They try to reach out to the companies so that students don't face any kind of difficulty. The projects are given according to the capability and interest of the candidate. They can assign a task for a particular period, guides them on how to do it, and give them space to find their strength and weakness.

From 5 semesters students became eligible for campus placements. Teachers trained students to clear the interview by taking aptitude classes, and personal development classes. There are a lot of companies visit to the campus some of the companies are Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, British Telecom, Cognizant, Concentrix, Genpact, Delloite, and many more. The highest package goes up to 4LPA and the average package is between 1.5 to 2.5 LPA. After getting the degree I plan to start a startup and live on my terms.

As my college is semi-government, our course comes under professional course. so its fee is a little bit high as compared to other courses like BCom, BSC, Botany. So in the first year, my fees were 30000 and it increases every year. for me, it takes around 250000 including fees, assignments, and stationery. But the college provides various scholarships and financial aid to students that can apply during the year. During 2 years the students may apply for internships to get real-world experience and may get stipends that vary from company to company and most importantly based on knowledge and performance.

The life at the campus is awesome, I think I spent my most beautiful 3 years in that. I explore many things there and learned a lot from my mistakes. The campus has a good cafeteria, a big ground, well infrastructures labs, and most importantly there are a lot of clubs like sports club, techno-geek club, debate club, personal development club, and music club where we can bring the best out of our creative and develop many skills. Many events are organized during the year and the best thing which my college is doing for the environment is organizing the blood donation camp every year on teachers' day i.e. 5 Sept. We have the biggest library in the whole of Yamunanagar and have a great faculty who is ready to help students in any manner.
