Remarks

I took my admission for the course of bsc biotechnology through the online website provided by jss aher. The application fee was about 1500. Application starts from March of each month and +2 passed science students are eligible.

The course is about three years and contains six semesters. The facilities are very friendly to each student and help students in their studies. Online portal sites of jss aher contain the study material.

Internships Opportunities

Bsc students can apply for their internship opportunity in the 5th semester. After the completion of internship, we have to submit a project based on the internship. Our college itself is providing the internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

Main placement is given during the completion of the MSc course in our college. Biotechnology is one of the main filed which is increasing the chance of job opportunities in the coming future. Like the job in many industries, hospitals, food industry etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for bsc biotechnology in jss aher is nearly 1,35,0000 plus the examination fee which you have to pay each semester. Many scholarships are given to the students. The students are very comfortable.

Would never recommend this college for the students who want to take a Tech Job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Scaler School of Technology : An honest review

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as placements for now (in 1st year here) but in our second year, we have placement support here. We have compulsory internship at our Second year. We only have 2 batches, 1st Year and 2nd Year. But for now, among our seniors 60% of them hold internships and others are either building something or scaling their skills. For now, we don't have any placement records but according to scaler academy, it will be aroung 24 Lakhs.
