Course Curriculum Overview

5

The reason to choose this course was because this is new and the chances of a job are likely high. The curriculum provides postings and internship for about 6 months which can help us in real world. A semester is of 6 months and there is enough time between the two internals and also they provide about one month study leave for semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

I am not that familiar with this area as the first batch of my course had just graduated but the college provides internships for all the courses. Some courses have 1 year and 3 year studies internship but i have 4 year studies with 6 month internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee i paid for first year was 2,36,500.This year about 1000 rupees has been increased. For other courses the fees varies from 1 lakh to about 3 lakhs depending on the course. There are many courses available like radiology, anaesthesia, cardiac care, respiratory care, renal dialysis, physician assistant, optometry, forensic science etc. They provide various scholarship offers too.

Campus Life

4

There is only one fest available for the allied health science department which is quite sad. I think they can set up some more festivals and all so that the students can enjoy more college life. The fest is held on june. The library is huge and it has some of the best collection any student needs. They work till midnight and provide a perfect environment for studies. All the classrooms have mic systems and projectors which makes it easier for both students and teachers. The sports day is also held annually with lot of items and also there is NCC and NSS groups.

Admission

I only applied to this college because when i checked the best colleges for bot JSS was one among the top 5. The course needs a +2 eligibility with 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology and english. The overall admission was quite good but a bit time consuming

Faculty

5

The faculty and student relation is quite good. They are available when you want to clear your doubts. My course contains 8 semesters and each one has 2 internal exams and a semester exam. As this is a deemed to be university the papers are conducted by the college itself and it is not that easy or difficult. If you study you can definitely get good marks.
