Remarks

Good college. Management should focus on placements. Well equipped Labs. All the faculties should try there level best for student sake.

Entrance Preview

CET entrance exam I took, Rank 827, Since it is government college fees will be less so I preferred this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

When I studied for each semester there were 8 subjects. In that 6 theory and 2 labs. For every theory subject we had totally 8 units. In that some faculty used to cover 6 units. If they cover 6 units that is Max. So much to read for a short period of time students will not think to understand subjects they just try to score good marks or to pass the exams by byhatting.

Internships Opportunities

When I studied internship was not there I don't know current situation. None of the company came for our branch at that time.

Placement Experience

0.5

Not even a single company came to campus. In my batch almost all of them got job in good companies by attending pool campus, Walk-ins and so on. But they were trying to bring companies for campus. Since Elections and Communication branch started in 2007 out 2008 our college was not so famous. Our college is famous for textile branch. Placements were there for textile branch.

College Events

4

In our college they started forum to develop students skills. There were several events in that forum which can improve Communication and technical skills of a student. They were providing prizes for the people who participates and wins in the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a government college no need to worry about fee. If a student is from SC/ST for them no college fee. Very less college fee for low income families for that we have show caste and income certificate. No extra fees they were taking only college fee and exam fee. Fee they were collecting according to government fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

For SC/ST they were providing scholarship. In our class no one applied for loan because fees was not that much heavy.

Campus Life

4

College life was excellent no ragging. In our class females were more that males our class strength was 70 in that female is 40 and males are 30 members. No gender discrimination. No color discrimination. Good place to study. Economic status is average. Middle class.

Hostel Facilities

3

I was not staying in hostel. We have college hostel. I don't know about fees. According to my friends mess food was good at the beginning later on it was not nice. That is normal if v eat same kind of food regularly cooked by same person it might be frustrating.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not in touch with old students. I am not a member of alumni network. They are not helpful since I am not in touch with them. I was not interacting with seniors.

Exam Structure

Labs were regular according to time table. Internal test were conducted every month. They were conducting internal test prominently. They were trying to complete the portion as soon as possible so that students can start preparing for there exams as soon as possible.

Admission

After completing diploma in Electronics and communication engineering, I took CET exam. I got 827th Rank out of 15000 then I attended counselling in malleshwaram and selected this college. I paid fee through DD. They collected DD and gave admission receipt to college. I went to college and showed admission slip that's it.

Faculty

3.5

There are some faculty who are really excellent. There teaching is very good even non technical person can understand what they teach so they teach a concept clearly so that a student who don't know basic can also understand. Some lectures are opposite to that they don't know what they teach and what to teach.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
