Remarks

Clearing PET that time and according to your marks/ rank, you get to enter here. But I took the EI branch which got shut after 2 batches as the scope of this branch is mainly outside Chhattisgarh and not here. Other branches are average.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, exams were held timely according to semester. It is affiliated with CSVTU, Bhilai. So exams were conducted from time to time. Materials you can get from the library of your college. But my branch was not useful for CG as it has scopes other than here so few students were enrolled in this branch

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Engineering students have to perform internships during the 4th and 6th semesters. The internship is good as you can select any place or company you want to intern with. Like I used to go to Doordarshan Kendra Raipur for an internship.

Placement Experience

Campus are invited but the average package is very low. Not a single big company comes for placement. We also went to other colleges for open campus placement. The companies come here goes very nominal package.

Fees and Financial Aid

2011-2015 the fees were 65,000 per year and 32,500 per semester. But there was a scholarship for backward classes based on their merit list. But not any other type of fee deduction for any general or EWS.

Campus Life

The campus life was very boring and not like a college life. Frankly speaking, we considered it a school. Later when we passed out we got to know that things have changed a bit. So it may be fun right now but not 4-5 years earlier.

My Life At NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

There are Good Placements of Our Colleges and Companies like Amazon , Boat , TVS , HP Petroleum Came For Shorting the students. but , i Will Talk about My Course in Biotech There's Only 4 Students Got Placed. That too In Data Analysis. Means No Placement in Biotech Field. We Have to move for Higher Studies for getting Placed. I will try to give SSC CGL as i want to become an Govt. offficer. Truth about NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

An experience of Personal Life to Campus Life

As I was not totally aware about BIT Raipur till the time I got into the college people in cities do have a good image of BIT raipur as a best college through a decade because, BIT Durg is the parent institute of BIT Raipur so it do have a good image because of that and if you just want to study and explore yourself you can get admission in this college.
