Cardiac perfusion at NICHE

The admission process is very simple. The admission form is easily available in the college itself. A scholarship exam is there by which we can get a deduction in our fees. Eligibility of the course is we have to take science stream in 12th standard as our mainstream. The application form is available in the college admission office and we can do the admission procedure there itself. The application fee is about 300-500 rupees and application dates are available on their official site.

Course curriculum includes 6semesters with every 5 subjects in each semester. 1year provides basic anatomy physiology subjects and 2nd year onwards going to the core of the subject. The course includes both theory and practical classes. A practical session is done in NIMS medication in the operation theatre. The faculty is very friendly and teaches in a very friendly manner. 10:40 student-faculty ratio is there. Many of the faculties there are taken doctorate in their subject or they are professional doctors. Semester exams are done every 6months. The examination includes both practical exams and theory exams. A practical exam is done in NIMS mendicity operation theatre. Exams are mandatory.

The internship is provided after completing the 3year course. Those who complete all the arrears only can do the internship. They can do an internship in any of the hospitals outside or inside Kerala. The stipend is provided as per the hospital management regulations. During the internship period, they are subjected to attend cardiac surgeries including valve replacement and heart transplantation.

The fee structure for every year is 1lakh for 3 years. The scholarship is available as per religious scholarship and a scholarship examination is also there. Management will provide financial assistance. Campus job is not available but they will provide an internship is provided after the course in any hospital. The stipend is provided as per the hospital management regulations. The internship is fully offered in cardiac OT and can attend 100plus cardiac cases including valve cases and heart transplants.

Life is in campus amazing. The campus is blessed with nature's beauty. It's a large university providing a wide range of courses. The annual feat, convocation day, tech fest, freshers day, Onam, Christmas celebration, and tours all are conducted every year. Conferences are also conducted. The campus is having a large library which is spread over 2 floors. There all reference books are available. All the classes are smart classes with a PowerPoint presentations. Sports day is also celebrated every year with intercollege competition and included a wide variety of items. Arts and sports day is celebrated.

The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. The boy's hostel is located just outside the campus and the girl's hostel is located inside the campus itself. Hostel registration can be done while doing the admission process from the college. The hostel is provided with hundreds of rooms, free Wi-Fi, 24/7 running water, a sports room, a garden, mess area. A spacious room is provided with a separate bed for each student, a study table, and a chair. The menu includes both veg and nonveg food which includes chicken on most of the days. Food is provided 4 times a day including evening snacks and milk, tea, coffee are provided with super quality. The hostel fee is 50000 per year. Rented rooms and pg are available nearby the college and near the kumaracoil temple, which is within walkable distance.
