The paramedical life at SRM university

The minimum mark was 65 percent. I applied in Vidyanagar college in Gujarat for the same course but srm is more equipped with all the machines and they have a private hospital where we are taught practically with the patients and all the equipment required for this course are there like MRI machine, ct scan, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, computed radiography. All the process was online and counselling was also done online I received a confirmation email that I have been selected for this course and then the classes started with an induction ceremony online itself.

This course is in demand in today's era and has a lot of value. We have three main professors for our main subject. They are highly qualified and the main professor is an extremely experienced person. We have 2 semesters in a year As our classes were conducted online and the exams offline we found the exams to be a bit difficult.

The internship is done at SRM medical hospital and the task includes the imaging of the radiograph of a person. This is an unpaid internship so a stipend is not offered. During the internship, we are trained under professionals thus making us gain more practical knowledge about the course.

There are as such no placement opportunities for medical students but they offer six months to one-year internships in the SRM hospital for the experience. After getting the degree I want to pursue a master's in the same and then go for the job may be abroad as the value of this course is more in foreign countries.

As this course is demanding the fee of this course is getting hiked yearly I paid 75000 whereas the 2021 batch is paying 1lakh for the same course. There is a 6 months internship included in the course to get the required experience.

The biggest fest of SRM is Milan where all the things are included. We have got a huge library with almost all the books. All the classes are large and equipped with AC. Sports grounds like football badminton volleyball etc are there inside the campus and there are separate clubs gyms for personal entertainment. There are many social groups like the dance club. Literary club. A social club where students can engage themselves.

The room is two sharing with attached washroom and separate wardrobe dressing table and study table for each student Students can choose from various hostels on the campus as the hostel fee ranges from 1-4lakhs per annum.
