Remarks

We are applying the application for engineering online because during the covid time it is online mode. Application fees are 500 and counseling fees are 5000 to be paid before attending the counseling. 193.5 is the required cutoff for BE computer engineering course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the mechanical engineering course because my cutoff is not enough for a computer engineering course. In this college GCT, all the faculty members like their relatives and brothers to our students some internal exams are conducted per month.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Most numbers of companies come for internships like HCL, honda, TVs, etc for our knowledge development and it also provides a new experience to our college students and we do some nuclear projects, and electric chip projects. Etc.

Placement Experience

In the sixth semester, our students are eligible for campus placement. If the most numbers of high-level companies have come for placement like HCL, Amazon, Flipkart, Hyundai, and honda for each and every department wise. In our college, the highest package place is 14.5 lack per annum and the lowest package is 2.5 lack per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college GCT, it is Asia's no. 1 low fees college for engineering in this generation. But the hostel and mess fees through paid each and every month. And state and central scholarships also provide and siemann , alumni scholarship for some poor students.

Campus Life

In this college., more clubs like a green club, defense, NSS, NCC, retract, and SAE for college students' activities. In every in our college conduct tech expo is the main scientific and technology function in this college. On the sports side, mainly important for cricket, football, volleyball, and athlete.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

A detailed review on GCT Coimbatore - Most affordable college of Asia.

In the admission process i applied only for government colleges like anna university chennai, gct coimbatore, gce salem, thiagaraja college madurai like that. Because i cant afford private college, among these government colleges gct coimbatore remains my first choice and got the admission in there. The main reason of choosing this college is affordable fee structure and good placement statistics. The admission process for government colleges are purely through Counselling process, there is no management quota. Based on our 12 th mark, a cutoff for 200 marks will be calculated. In this 100 marks from maths and 50 from physics and 50 from chemistry will be accounted. Then a rank list will be released based on this cutoff mark incl all applicants, it is called general rank list. There will be other rank list like community rank list where the rank will be grouped by community such as BC, MBC, SC/ST. Every college will release a seat matrix based upon their vacancy. Student have to fill a choice list based on their interest. And based on the rank, the software will check the vacancy for seats in the choice order and finally college is alloted.
