Remarks

You have to score above 70 percentile in jee mains and above 80% in 12th. The application form is available in galgotias university site. The management of the university is terrible. All the faculty needs to get replaced.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had an interest from the beginning in the computer science stream. The faculty: student ratio is 60:1. The faculty is graduated from good government colleges. The exams are conducted every 4 months in college and they are called end term examination.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 159000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement only after the 6th semester. There are mass recruiters which give you good placements and they pick students in bulk. Highest package is 32 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs .80% got placements in 2021 and i will pursue M.tech after this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of B.tech CSE are 1,59,000 for one year. They give you scholarship on the basis of your jee mains result and sports quota . They don't give you financial assistance and they don't give you stipend as well

Campus Life

In 2021 manifest was held on 11th and 12th april and dexterix was held on 10th march onwards. All the books are available in library. All sports are held on university and they give you training as well. There are many clubs like gmt, kaafila,etc. You can enroll in these clubs.

Hostel Facilities

They give you wifi ,bed , almirah, table and a chair . There is a ps4 gaming room as well the meal quality is so bad. Once you have paid for the hostel the student is registered and it is pretty affordable. The near locality for pg is alpha 1.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Reality of Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

I got offer from Indian Institute of Technology Patna for pursuing Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science and Data Analytics. I studied there for 1 year and completed my Foundation degree and then left it as there was not much exposure due to the course being hybrid.
