The eligibility of the course is upon completion of high school. You can carry out the admission process from the vel tech official site www.veltech.edu.in. You can get reservation benefits upon registration from the online form or you can ask your admission officer.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to design aircraft in the future I want to work as an aeronautical engineer. As the class size is small the faculties are also comfortable giving extra knowledge to the students.

There are many paid or unpaid or partially paid internship opportunities that students can avail themselves of after completing almost the required credits but they have to maintain their curriculum as no backlogs are there.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from the 3rd year after completing almost the credits from the course. there will be an eligibility test for those who are attending the placement interviews after that only you can get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The current fee is 76700 for aeronautical engineering but I heard that it is going to rise and may be in the future because the education inflation rate is also higher per year. You can get a scholarship upon your caste.

Campus Life

Annual sports day and annual programs are being conducted every year but now due to the covid annual fest has been stopped but the sports hasn't stopped. There are several groups you can join such as music club dance club and sports club.

Hostel Facilities

There are four hostels you can choose from their names are an international hostel, lords hostel, national hostel, and Balaji hostel which national hostel is good all. The facilities are 24 hrs wifi water etc but sometimes the cutoff will be there because of some external factors.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
