Remarks
The admission process is very systematic in our college. Students are selected based on marks obtained in the last qualifying exam and personal interviews taken thereafter. Marks of major entrance exams are also considered for the admission process. Students who are interested in admission may apply online or get the offline form at the University.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams were conducted always on time with proper management. Questions were very relevant to the subject and were mostly from the textbooks themselves. The difficulty level was moderate. One can easily get good marks in exams if he/she has gone through the textbooks thoroughly and understood the main concepts.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is provided to all the students of all the courses from the first year itself. Students do an internship at reputed organizations and companies. In Law, students intern at various High courts, Supreme courts, Law Tribunals, Law firms, etc.
Placement Experience
ICFAI University Jharkhand is known for its placements. A lot many companies visit our University to the recruitment of students for various roles. Mostly, final-year students become eligible for the placement drive. The average annual package goes around 7 LPA. Around 80-90% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite affordable in our college. For BBA-LLB(H), it is Rs.80,000 per year for nondomicile students and Rs.70,000 per year for Jharkhand domicile students. Scholarships are given to students based on merit. Also, loan facilities are provided to students who cannot afford fees.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome at ICFAI University Jharkhand. Annual fests are organized every year on our campus where students themselves organize various kinds of activities like Dance competitions, Singing competitions, Debate, Skit, etc. We have a well-furnished library here in which all the latest books and journals are available. Sports tournament is organized regularly to promote sports life among students. Students actively participate in various social groups and different societies like Debate Society, Dance Society, etc.
Interview Experience
Yes, I gave a Personal Interview for admission. In the process, different types of questions are asked not only related to the subject but overall knowledge of different general concepts. Subject knowledge and Self-confidence are the main things that were mainly observed during the entire interview process. For preparation, I went through the general knowledge, current affairs, and legal textbooks.
