Placement and Internship Opportunity

The eligibility for the course is +2 level/ Intermediate/ High School. As I am an international student for that there is no entrance examination to be followed whereas national/Indian students have to appear for an entrance examination which has 3 phases you can find the information about the examination and application form on the website www.veltech.edu.in

I chose this course because there are no studies for aero in my country and I chose, in particular, this college as it was affordable and the review was very good. In other departments such as ECE/CSE, the students are more in number as the placement opportunities are also high and the scope of the subject itself is an advantage. Particularly in our department (aeronautical), the student is very less in number so it becomes easy for us to understand the topics and for the faculty to teach them too(less disturbance, hasslefree) Examinations were taken as soon as the completion of 2nd units for lecture courses and those who have at least paid attention only during the class time had an easy time passing the examination. Faculties/ Professors/ HOD are much qualified and are open-minded to discuss any issues and are good regarding subject matter too

There are numerous opportunities for placement for both paid and unpaid schemes where you can go to foreign universities to complete your projects of industrial studies and can return to your university for your degree. These all internship is handled by the Directorate of International Relations. Many universities in the foreign can give you paid as well as unpaid internship opportunities according to your curriculum you have to consult with the International Relations members and they will help/guide you about the opportunity schemes.

Students become eligible for the placements from 3rd year 6/7th semester there are certain process they have to go through like an eligibility exam has to be taken before sitting in the campus placement etc. The highest package of this year 2021 is 21 LPA offered by Amazon to a student from the CSE department.

As the education inflation rate is in the hikes we can expect an increase in fees. But overall I feel like it is quite affordable with the structure here. Scholarships at the time of admission and after-admission schemes are there to help the students. Students who are from a certain category can avail of the scholarship by submitting necessary paperwork at the time of admission, whereas as an international student I got a 75% scholarship by default as a scheme.

Campus life is nice and enjoyable for students who are truly dedicated to their goal and knows what to achieve. There are many sports, and extracurricular activities going on campus for the students interested in those fields. The college has a club (music club, dance club, sports club)which they can join if they are interested. Annual programs such as sports day, and Lavaza will take place once a year but because of the pandemic it has been stopped but we have a hint of conducting it soon.

Hostel rooms are standard, on a sharing basis(1in1, 2in1, 3in1, 4in1) but the price of the rooms is higher for 1in1 or 2in1. The facilities like wifi, water, and electricity are almost 24 hrs available. Similarly, the meal is offered as the student like (if you are from the south region and north region) there is a separate mess for them. There is another mess for the veg lovers. The main thing in the hostel is there is no ragging or such activities here, has a good environment if you can make good quality friends you get many benefits as your friend's circle represent how you behave. Likewise, if you are willing to stay in a rented room you can search for it nearby but these rooms stay booked throughout the year and I do not see any changes
