Remarks

Eligibility for Data Science is simple you have to pass 12th and have a decent scores on jee and 12th boards exam. I found an admission form on campus some teachers assisted me throughout the whole process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college because of its course offerings and college life. IPS has great and supportive faculty and has a decent student-to-teacher ratio. Students can easily and freely approach any faculty. Faculties are experienced and professional. But teaching methods can be improved upon. Speaking of exams, Exam is based on understanding concepts. Passing exams are fairly easy.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Placement Experience

College placement is good. Faculties start training students for placement from 1st year onward. Faculties help students throughout the placement process and provide necessary knowledge and facilities. I am satisfied with my overall placement. Related Companies like TCS, Capgemini, ONGC, etc come to college for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is semester-based. So far haven't faced any fee hikes but fees for data science is somewhat expensive. On the other hand, the college provides various extra courses like a subscription to edx, and exclusive foreign collaboration courses.

Campus Life

Campus Life is decent. There are various events and fests like swaranjali occurring in college. The campus is big and can be enjoyed. The library also has goodwill computers and great availability of books. The classroomm environment is good. There are various clubs you can be a partof. College cms are maintained by students.

From 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Bajaj visited this year and made a total of 12 offers of 12LPA, Also Syvora visited and make total 8 offers of 5.10 LPA. The highest placement for this year is 12 LPA and the average placement is approx 4-5 LPA. Mainly 20-30% students get placed rest all students are left without any placement. My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for government exams.

For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem. For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem. In 2025, All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected). Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa. 214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

Replacements in the college are very good. The average CTC of my branch was 6.98 lacs last year. The highest package was 19 lakhs. DEUTSCHE BANK, AVALARA, BARCLAYS, NUCLEI eyc. Many big companies come for recruitment each year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very out dated and not real world and industry ready. Its based on the same old curriculum which plays no part in getting a placement today. They do pay attention to gaining a few extra important skills though which is good but i think more attention should be paid towards character and skill development of the students in all fields. Frequency of examinations are recent so if you want to focus on developing skills other than college it gets really difficult to do so.
