Remarks

B pharmacy course is for those students who obtain minimum 50% Mark's in 10th and 12th . Akal college of pharmacy and technical education is one of the famous college due to holly place and there is no entrance exam occur ,submit 10000Rs for registration fee for admission and remaining 53000 fill in two installment.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I m interested in pharmacy. There is trained and well educated teaching members they clear of the concepts with proper examples. More than 20 teachers are there. College conduct two sessional exams and clearing these are compulsory . Around 250 is the ratio of students in this college.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 68000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Different companies like sun pharma and divya pharmacy like companies give opportunities to those students who have good knowledge and skills of working . Companies give packages around 50k to 1.5 lac depending upon skill and understanding as well as working knowledge. 8 semester students offered internships those students contains good percentage.

Placement Experience

8th semester students got placements in different companies. Eligibility for obtain placement is more than 65% Mark's. Different packages given from 50k to 2 lac average given to students. After getting degree I m starting preparation for drug inspector exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

68,000Rs 1st year then 60,000 per year we give fees in installment also .there are scholarship programs for Sikhs and those who belong from poor families like nishkam , sarbat da Bhalla for those who are good in qualification and need financial support and for those also who are single parent.

Campus Life

There are many fests conducted by colleges for motivating students. Celebrate pharmacy week in which we discuss Pharmacovigilance like topics, sports day athletic meets, pharmacy quiz, blood donation camp, and many other fests for those students who are interested in other activities also. Two libraries for students which are full of course-related new edition books and up-to-date journals.

An In-Depth Look at Campus Life and opportunities at Chandigarh University

Likes

I think, the campus is being liked by everyone whether its staff member or a student, because the university consists of many blocks or departments and that too are named as A1, A2, A3, A4 & B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 & C1, C2, C3 & D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6,D7,D8
Parks and all are made for the relaxation purpose of the student
Car Parkings are available separately for the students and staff and that also inside the campus which is ambitious.

Dislikes

The semester fees and other expenses is relatively higher as compared to other institutions
Some students find the university’s rule such as strict attendance policies and accurate timings for the classes, quite stringent
Mostly 2 common times, one is in morning nearby 8.50 AM to 9.50 AM and in evening nearby 3.50 PM to 5.00 PM, the rush is like horses and buffaloes! There is so much over crowded & most of the crowd occurs by the Autos, but no one do anything for that

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

Admission:

The eligibility criteria to get into this college is 10+2 pass with Science subjects. Admission is made through Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar followed by counseling process. I applied for the college and then got an admission offer letter directly and then went ahead with the admission procedure.

Experience of college life

Remarks:

Good words for the college is that the teaching faculty is very good if I see. Otherwise bad words for this college is that. Half of the classes are so big and students in the class are more than 60 so the teacher can teach properly to them.i would say to divide the students according to their marks like section-wise.

ACPTE: A Place With Nice Staff

Akal College Of Pharmacy And Technical Education, Mastuana Sahib is a well-known College in Sangrur and other regions. This college is part of Gurudwara Gursagar Mastuana Sahib which is a well-respected place in Punjab. Eligibility criteria for B. Pharmacy here are class 12 with science (medical or non-medical). One can easily find the application form from the office which is just near the entrance. Admission is open from June to August after the declaration of results by CBSE or other boards. Rs 5000 is charged as an admission fee. Students from all boards are allowed to take admitted to the college. If you have more than 80% in 12th, then congratulations you will be given a subsidy of Rs 7000 per semester. There are 15% reservation seats for students from other states. The admission process is quite easy and short. College doesn't waste your time on admission tests etc if you have a good grade in 12th and have a clean record.
