I opted for the B.tech (computer science) because I have an interest in web development and wanted to pursue my carrier in this field. most of the faculty are from Nit and many reputed colleges and as for the student to faculty ratio, there are 70 students in a class for a single faculty. and if some student has come up with doubt or any query there are many ways to clear it ut, either by faculty or CRs assigned to their respective section. As I earlier mentioned almost every faculty is from NITs or IIITsand has a good knowledge of the industry and will surely guide items in the best way possible for the industry. every semester there are 3 internal exams and 1 final. and the exams are a medium-level difficulty. any student can clear it with little preparation before exams.

there are many companies during the final year which offer internships as well as job offers. to get an internship you must have a basic knowledge of the core subject and other technical skills which will easily land you in a good company.

The one thing Galgotias is known for is, its placement and almost every student gets a job at the end of their graduation. there are around 400+ companies with several offers and the college also suggests and gets the student to enroll in many off-campus placement tracks to get the high package. the highest package is around 40 - 50 LPA. currently, I'm also doing the Cognizant placement track which is off-campus. of 6.75lpa.

The admission fee for Btech students (computer science) is 159000, and for the specialization student, it is 180000. there are scholarships for the Bihar and UP students known as state quota. and for the international students, it may vary.

the annual fest of galgotias university is one the biggest fest to be organized in the north India campus and is known for its popularity around the students of many other college students. the annual fest is generally organized during the march and April months. and in the recent fest The popular Punjabi singer Hardy Sandhu was the main artist. there are libraries in every block of our college specified for the department and separate studying areas with complete centralized AC. in our classroom, there is no AC, and students have to get suffer from heatstroke. the sports and extra-curricular activities are great, I was in the football department and represented our college in many tournaments and our team won most of them. there are plenty clubs for the student choices.

The hostel fees for non-AC is 110000 and for AC it is 140000. I used the hostel facilities for the first year and it was worst than I ever imagined. The hostel is located near nowhere to the main market. and also There are no medical facilities for the student provided by the college. and as compared to the nearby PG or private hostel the amount of the GU hostel is a lot. And the main part of the meal, it was worst, many students don't even prefer to eat in the mess. as it has no good taste, I suggest taking a rented room near pari chowk or another area near the market. as there you get a variety of rate of the rooms and different facilities.
