Great Engineering College for CSE

Our college comes under the Maharashtra cet cell. When entrance exams like jee and cet end, the admission process starts. There you need to choose the preference for your favorite colleges. The admission process is pretty simple and straightforward.

I am super excited about computer programming since childhood. Definitely, you can't expect an IIT-level faculty here but everything is above average. Talking about exams, our college is autonomous thus exams are relatively easy to pass. But that doesn't mean that cheating is allowed here.

As my college is autonomous thus we get a chance to do internships during our college time. In the last sem, we can do a complete 6-month internship without worrying about college exams or marks. That's why most students like to opt for internships in the 8th semester.

In the 6th sem and onwards, students get eligible for on-campus as well as off-campus placement drives. Most of the service-oriented major IT firms visit our college like TCS, COGNIZANT, Infosys, Accenture, etc. The highest package usually is around 8 lacks, except for some students who are super brilliant. The average package of CSE and IT department is around 5 lacks. Almost 100 percent of soft branch students get placed. I am planning to continue my startup and grow it to the further levels.

Our college has 135000 fees per year, and I got a 55000 scholarship in EBC. I am from the open category but if you have any other or minority group, other scholarships are also available. Our college has dedicated staff that helps students with this.

A great annual function that gathers every year "virungala". This is a nontechnical event, mostly focused on cultural activities like drama, singing, dance, music, etc. Along with that, the RIT hackathon is arranged every year where student from all over the Maharastra participate.

I join the college hostel instead of taking a PG on rent outside the college campus. That's because I think hostel life is very important. Our hostel is above average than what I heard from my friends of other colleges. Here we have 4 mess. That means if you don't like the meal from one, you can switch to another one. Talking about hostel fees, it is only 23000 per year. And on top of that, if your from home state, you can 8000 scholarship. Locality is normal around the college. College is not a city area, which is I think a good thing.
