Remarks
Admission was on the basis of JEE-Mains. GBU-ET is the second option through which admission is processed. The application for GBU-ET can be found on the university's official website ( www.gbu.ac.in ). The government reservation system is followed by the university. Course Curriculum Overview
I had interests in the Tech sector, Hence I wanted to go into engineering in computer science. The faculty is highly qualified from top institutes like IIIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Kanpur. The teaching method is pretty decent and does not put the necessary pressure on students. There are two exams in the semester Midterm and End Term. Midterm is 15 marks and End term is 70 marks. Exams are of medium level.
Placement Experience
Placements are improving many startups have started hiring this year. Still, it needs to improve a lot. The placement cell and faculties are very supportive and active. 95% of students of CSE are placed with an average package of 3-4 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university provides UP Government Scholarship. The fee structure is very low compared to private universities. The academic fees are fixed when you join the university and remain the same till the completion of your course.
Campus Life
Campus Life is very beautiful, We have 200 acres of the sports complex. Which consist of indoor and outdoor sports and activities. Classrooms and campus are fully centralized ac though in Hostel you are not allowed to set up an AC. Fest is not that special in this college.
Hostel Facilities
All students are allocated single rooms with a Light, fan, bed, Almira, and a study table. Every room is attached with balcony. Mess food and menu are good compared to other colleges in the area. Registration is done at admission time. As it's a residential university so Hostel is compulsory.
