Remarks

For admission, we have to first fill out an online application form after which there is an entrance test. The entrance test is mostly subjective. After the test there is an interview; questions are asked related to the subject. After the interview, shortlisted candidates make a class of 44, there is 70% reservation for MSUB students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to pursue a postgraduation degree in English Literature and in Gujarat the only university offering a little different course is MSUB. The class is made of 40 students and the teachers take the classes according to their expertise. All the faculty members are having a Ph.D degree. The exams are quite tough and the timings are absurd.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 7260 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of MSUB for MA English is quite affordable as it is just 7,260 but still for economically challenged people the administration permits the fee to be paid in two installments. Apart from this, there are various scholarships offered by the university for a single girl child, for economically backward classes, reserved classes, etc.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the university is quite well developed. It has two canteens for the students which have quite reasonable rates. Also, various departments provide various libraries, besides the departmental library there is Hansa Mehta Library which has a great collection of books. The extracurricular activities depends on the activeness of the departmental head. There are student leaders which run students union group and are quite active against the wrongs done towards students.

Evrything to know in short about MSUB!

Placement Experience:

Placements do come and most likely to take master students, but also if bachelor's want to opt placement they can be it on or off campus. There's are good CTC provided and for a fresher it can be good start in the professional world. The highest package can go to 8 or 9 LPA to average 5LPA. Almost 90% to 95% students get placed. I would also like to sit for placements in coming year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

English is my most preferred language and I really enjoyed studying English literature which is why I chose this course. There are more than 60 students per class. The faculty members are well educated. There are two terms per year.

MSU- A PLACE FOR DREAMS

I had applied in two colleges 1) MSU 2) KMCA Commerec College and got opportunities in both college for admission. No i didn't get any rejection from other college as i had secured a very high marks. Actual life at MSU as a barodian

since its a government college, administration is a lil slow. application process is purely online but then you have to visit offline to submit documents and selct uour subjects in faculty of arts. its better to have a contact in msu, a student, teacher or anything works but it makes the process easier. they still will guide you through everything even if u dont have a contact...Read More
