Remarks

Experience is all good it's just the faculty and administrative response which delays every time. The faculty is very good otherwise. everyone is well educated. The campus if we'll be furnished and the infrastructure is very vast and beautiful. The food courts present in the college have every type of variety(approx).

Course Curriculum Overview

The first semester is always the longest semester and then the second is from Feb to May and so on. We have MST every month(two months) and then the third month there is EST(end semester term). If you learn everything in class and session then you can easily do it.. otherwise, it is difficult of course. The attendance part is main here.. we should have 75 above percentage of attendance to be eligible for exams.

Placement Experience

From 3rd pr so. I guess campus placement is allowed. Hundreds of companies have visited the campus to date. 80percent of students get placed. I will do MSc and BEd and then professor. Students are highly prepared for the placements beforehand and then they can do whatever they want.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got Cucet scholarship in college for the first two semesters and then. we don't have any scholarships from the third semester. A upper middle class men can afford this college expenses because college fees(for me: 30000 +4security and all) + hostel fees(100000 per year)/pg rent(10000per month. And so on like I gave you a rough idea for all this.

Campus Life

We have a department in college called dsw(department of students welfare) which is run by students mainly under supervision by a highly reputable sir. We have workshops going on every month and clubs are doing their job. So it gives you vast exposure to things in life.

Remarks:

Faculty: Teacher are highly efficient, all of them are from a great background. But teaching quality is something which varies from person to person. The course curriculum is very good but the semester time period is less so kind of little difficult and more semester stress. Placements: People find it on their own, and they go for Higher Studies like PhD and Post Doc etc. Infrastructure: Co-ed Hostel with full Wi-Fi support and for the first 2 years two students live together in single room and from 3rd year onwards they get separate single room. Mess system available, 3 mess you can eat in any of them on pay and eat basis. Health center is there, all the sports facilites and gym is also there.

Remarks:

No doubt IHM Bathinda is one the best college in terms of hotel management and also of the province of Punjab. One should be fortunate enough if he/she gets in here and get the preferred choice, rest all of us are polished by the college itself. Our college management is too strict about following the rules but ultimately it is good for the students. Faculty and environment you are getting in the college are also good for studies creating competitiveness among students.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end. The documentation and councelling were done efficiently and I received my admission confirmation within few days....Read More
