College only for machines

Admission process is very easy and simple. Eligibility criteria is 12th pass in b.tech course. Application form is easily available on College website as well as offline in college campus. You have to visit the college only once with two photograps and 10th or 12th marksheet for admission.

The course curriculum is not very good. They follow the old syllabus and do not provide updated knowledge. The faculty-student ratio is 1:25. Almost all faculty members have done m.tech. some teachers are really helpful and help students in every possible manner but almost 90 per cent of faculty members do not have any such dedication toward students. There are 2 term exams conducted in a 1-month gap. It is very easy to pass the term exam.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. Mainly small companies visit the college campus and if any big company visit campus then it provides small job role and low salary. Mainly Zomato, Chegg, Justdial, byjus etc. visit our college campus. There is about only 30-40 per cent of students are able to get placed via college campus interviews. The highest package offered was 10.5 lakh and the average package is about 2.5 lakh. My plan after getting my degree is to be an entrepreneur.

The fees are the same for all 4 years. The fees are fixed in the first year and remain the same for all four years there is no hike in the fees. The fees of this college are average...not too high and not too low. My one-year fee for b.tech is 45000. College doesn't provide scholarships to students. Mostly the job we got on campus is around a 15-20k stipend.

There are freshers parties organised every year for newly admitted students. The tech fest named “mitrc Invincible" and various sports are organized on the college campus every year in the month of April. There are many books in the library but they are totally wasted because all books are outdated and based on old syllabi and patterns. Classrooms size are big but no ac no cooler, only fans. There is no social group in our college.
