Remarks

Eligibility of the course is class 12th pass with science stream from any boards of India. The application form is found on the campus official site from April 1st week to the last week of the same month every year. The application fee is Rs.400 for this course. I have been availed of reservation benefits in the fee and cutoff list. The admission process must not be too hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course since it has many scopes on today and future as well. There are a total of 12 professors in my home science department. The students and faculties ratios are too good in my departments. They have research degrees and years of experience. They teach well and we love to have such teachers. Exams are based on an annual system and easy to score good marks.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 2900 per year

Placement Experience

Students from their last semester are chosen for campus placement offers programs. A test is conducted for choosing the right students for placements before organizing placements. Scholar Academy is the company that visited our campus for placement and offered a max. of 6 lakh per annum and the average was 1.5 lakh per annum. Very less students get placements on our campus so around the percentage is 15 to 20 percent. I will continue my M.Sc. in home science further.

Fees and Financial Aid

First-year we have to pay a fee of Rs.2900 and the second year we have to pay a 2777 fee amount and last year we have to pay Rs.2900 so no hike in fee is seen. The total cost to study this course is Approximately Rs.10000 excluding PG expenses. Saksham is the name of the scholarship we get from state governments.

Campus Life

Puratan Sanskriti Sammelan and Convocation ceremony are the two most popular annual fests on our campus. These are organized in December month. Every books and journal are available in the campus library. The classroom has every facility we need. Sports and extracurricular activities are performed here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For mathematics it has the syllabus and for physics also defense studies is the subject that I'm here . I'm in 1st year so there is some baiscs so i can't say that it has a lide changing chapters but i have heard that in 2nd year it is going to be very interesting. And I'm very excited!!. All three subjects are very interesting but I'm also seeing mathematics as an interesting subject . If you want to be a scholar in the university you have to choose your favorite subject and just stick to it, it'll be very helpful. Yes for skill development class if students want tp learn that skill for real please teach them carefully, otherwise it's just waste of money time and effort. Timings are good there are back to back exams in which you'll be preparing for exam for whole year not a single month to waste which is good from my perspective. Difficulty level is moderate, if you solve pyqs and similar questions you will score good in exams . You will require good amount of practice and speed for 3 hour exam .

I choose bsc bioinformatics as I love programming and research sector as I took pcb in 11th ... I couldn't go for btech ... But then I researched and found about this course which need computer skills with biology background.. a perfect match for someone like me.. after the pandemic and technical growth in biology sector .. bioinformatics became one of the most growing area .. In india it's rare to find people know about this is even a sector so yeah less competition and big opportunities to work abroad .. But I am pursuing this course in this college which have very bad curriculum..the faculty isn't proper to teach us about bioinformatics and we are just study the syllabus of biotech in a mixed class ... One beatiful chapter of life..

I applied in Delhi University and I also got the confirmation letter but I choose Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur because of the city i actually don't like delhi..
