Why to choose IET lucknow college

At my time The admission process was through the UPSEE exam but from this year onwards the admissions are done through JEE Main score The eligibility for the course was a minimum of 75% marks in board exams and the UPSEE exam cut-off for OBC was 526 rank (general). After 2 months long UPSEE counseling your seat is allotted if your rank is enough to cross the cut-off score which is different for different categories. After the counseling process, the provisional admission is done by physical reporting that your all documents are verified and your seat gets confirmed after paying the fee of the course. The improvement I would like to suggest is that they don't take yearly fees to confirm seats at the time of admission the fees may be paid in installments.

I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering(regular) branch over others as it is the top branch as per the placement records. Faculties are enough to teach about 80 students of a branch in which about 22 are girls and rest are boys. Our faculties are post graduated mostly from IITs and IIMs.Some have completed PHds and some have done Mtech.Teachings methods of faculties are normal.During class they give lectures on particular topic and shares ppt and notes which are sufficient to understand that subject We have two internal exams in each semester which are CT1 and CT2 .Thay happens after 1 month of begining of semester and we have our final exams after the end of semester.They are not much difficult to pass but yes we have to study to pass them

On-campus internship opportunities are not so good only a few companies come for that. But students get off-campus internships in companies like scaler, Goldman sacs, and media. net, Flipkart, etc with a stipend of? 30,000 to 50,000.

The 5th-semester students are eligible for internship and 7th-semester students are eligible for placements On-campus placements are good in college There are companies like Wipro Accenture TCS honda comes in college and some good companies like Paytm, Snapchat, adobe, media.net, and condensation come with packages of 16 to 30 lacs. The average package for college is 20 lacs for CSE and 12 lacs for other branches.The highest package is 1.37 crore 70 to 80% of students get placed who appear for placement and some students prepare for competitive exams like a gate, UPSC,clat, is, etc. I plan to get a good placement.

Annual fees for the course include the tuition fee which is? 84750 hostel accommodation fee? 14500, Hostel Mantainence Fee which is? 4000 and Mees fees which are? 17000 per semester. For those students who are financially weak, college guides to avail UP government scholarship which is UP post-matric other than intermediate scholarship and in this about? 50000 are sanctioned to economically weak students. On-campus job opportunities are good here. There are companies like Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Honda comes for recruitment, and some top companies like Paytm, adobe,snapchat,codenation,media.net come with packages of ?16lacs to? 30 lacs.

There are a lot of fests that happen in college. The annual fest of college is Encore which is the biggest fest of college and a lot of events like dance, music, treasure hunts, open mic, stand up comedy, Dj night, etc happen. Apart from it the other fests like vista, Sankaran, which are technical fest happens There is a central library in our college where there are a lot of academic and nonacademic books are there. Sports facilities are very good there is a sports complex in college which is under construction now and football,badminton , volleyball,basketball and cricket grounds We have many clubs and societies like the technical clubs are robotics and fractal(coding club) music club swaranjali insanity,parmarth retorica, insanity, whiteboard(media body), nakshatra,kalakriti, and e cell.

The rooms in the hostel are good for accommodation there is a provision of bed, table, chair, and electricity in rooms. Mess food is good and quality of the food is also good in breakfast we have milk poha jalebi aalo paratha lassi sandwich and in lunch and dinner daal rajma chole paneer soybean and curry also fried chawal and roti generally it is different on a different day Hostel accommodation is done during the admission process and yearly when the hostel changes the fees for accommodation and food are affordable and low.
