Remarks

I decide to pursue my education here, as it was my dream university since childhood. I really wanted to pursue my passion and fulfil my dream. I had to submit an online application, and my application fee was around Rs.500. The documents required were my official transcripts, letters of recommendation, my JEE score of 94, and a statement of purpose.

Course Curriculum Overview

My PhD program helped me to develop my research capability. I was groomed to be a future leader in research and innovation. The professors were actively engaged in cutting-edge research areas that include communication, signal processing, Microelectronics and semiconductor devices, Power systems, Renewable energy systems, Computer Vision, and Human-Computer interfaces. I even managed to gain immediate, hands-on experience which helped me to overcome my challenges.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Placement Experience

My alumni found full-time and internship positions with a wide range of international employers, including Adobe, Amazon, Infosys, HCL, Jindal Stainless Ltd, IOCL, Capgemini, KIIT, ISRO, Cognizant, DELL, Microsoft, Thermax, UHG, Flytxt Mobile Solutions, and TATA Steel. The packages offered were around Rs.1500,000 yearly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My tuition and fees expenses were around Rs.20,00,000, including the cost of my books and supplies. Further, my miscellaneous expenses amounted to Rs.200,000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I applied for a Merit-based scholarship during my admission application submission. My aid was based upon a review of the academic qualifications, financial need, and availability of student aid resources.

My university offered more than 100 clubs and organizations There was always something going on and it was easy for me to get involved, whether it was a poetry reading, concert, guest lecture, outdoor movie night, holiday dance, or just pizza and hanging out.

Good autonomous institute for life science

Admission:

Admission to PHD students is only possible when they will qualify the entrance test which is followed by an in person interview round. No specific age limit is there for the phd course. The application can either be filled on the official portal or in the institutional office.

Admission:

It is mandatory that candidates should have passed their M.Sc. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm./ M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in life sciences and allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biophysics/ Chemistry/ Microbiology, etc.) with minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade point). Programming/scripting experience would be a plus for candidates interested in Bioinformatics. Candidates awaiting final results may also apply, however, if shortlisted, they have to produce their final mark sheet on the date of the interview, failing which they will not be interviewed. Candidates should have also qualified in CSIR/UGC-JRF or DBT-JRF or DBT-BINC-JRF or UGC-RGNF or ICMR-JRF or DST-INSPIRE or GATE or GPAT.
