Best NIT in terms of placement.

The admission process was through JEE mains and it was conducted by NTA. The eligibility of the course was to get a decent rank in the above examination to secure a seat in Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. The application form could be found on the official website of NTA. The application fees was around 700 to 800 rupees depending upon the reservation of categories. I did not opt for any kind of reservation benefits. The improvement in the application process that I can suggest is that the examination should not be conducted four times a year it should be conducted only once so that there is no excessive pressure on students.

The teachers here are well qualified, all of them are PhD in their respective fields. But I won't say you would enjoy studying from all of them. The course and curriculum that we are taught here is not upto the mark, so as a student we have to study a lot of things on our own to be industry ready. Semester exams here are of moderate level same as other colleges.

The campus placements in NIT Bhopal are quiet nice. The major recruiting companies are from the IT sector. If you are skillful enough you can grab various kinds of opportunities for placement and internship in NIT Bhopal. The most special thing about NIT Bhopal is that even non CSE branch students can apply for various kinds of software development roles. Talking about the average placement it stands nearby about 8.5 lpa which is quite high as compared to various other nits of Northern as well as Southern India. The placement process begins from 3rd year and continue till the fourth year. The highest placement offered is around 65 lpa from Microsoft and various kind of big companies also visit the campus for example Google Microsoft Adobe Goldman sach Samsung r&d etc The campus is visited also by various kind of PSU like BHEL etc.

The placements are quite decent as compared to other NIT'S majority companies are from IT sector, and also the average package is above 8-9 Lakh... Most of the companies all allow students of all branches to set in the campus placement. Even students from core branches have got offers more than 20 lakh... So best of luck!!!

MANIT BHOPAL is having in campus of more than 600 acres in overall area. Although the labs are very well constructed and the new teaching block is also very well maintained, Most of the area still remains unused. Hostels here are decent in first year, you have to live in a room of 3 occupancy and from 2nd year onwards you can have rooms of double occupancy or single occupancy. Mess food is also good but you are gonna get used to it after few months.... Talking about medical and canteen facilities their also quite good and well maintained

The hostel facilities are quite decent in the first year you are allotted hostel 10. It is having rooms of triple occupancy with a balcony attached although the washroom facility is common for all. The mess food is also very decent and is controlled by the student body of NIT Bhopal. The hostel is having all kind of facilities regarding sports and recreation that helps in overall development of the students. The registration of hostel is done by the help of Google forms. The fees here is a little bit high as compared to the facilities provided in the campus. I have rented a PG outside the campus which is quite affordable and the food here is also hygienic. You can find various kinds of PG and rented apartments outside the campus if you don't find the campus hostel suitable for yourself.
