Remarks

The eligibility criteria was plus two maths physics chemistry marks above (75%) the necessary details including registration fees was know by approaching the college as am obc the nesseary reservation was given also my nss certificate has played a role in reservation process

Civil engineering was chosen because of personal intrest and it is a fun and intresting course our departmnt contains 20 plus teachers and lab asisstants about 35 students in my class All the faculties had ther masters degree in their subjects they mainly focus on core topics monthly exam and series exam are conducting very well

Technothon was the latest intership conducted by triple i was an internship based on working of helicopter working its mechanism and some students got the chance to travel in the chopper Our college has some connections with international level teams to support our knowledge

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

Life of an Engineering Student

Keam: In both Science and Maths examinations we are supposed to earn atleast 10 marks out of 180(360 total) for eligibility and there are minus marks for each wrong answers and for every right answers you'll get 4 marks. The application forms are all provided in the university websites after the publication of results and applications dates are also provided on the website The reservations is there for ews,sc,st etc they'll get fee reduction and the fixed deposit will be lower than general caste. The admission procedure is mainly online but you'll need some paper documents also to apply for admission it isn't completely online procedure so people might find it slow also there's a delay in allotments and admission procedure from colleges so you'll have to wait for a while to get the allotments.
