Remarks

The process was very easy. I have applied through my class 12th marks and here you can get an option of giving an entrance test for admission which is quite easy. The admission process was very smooth.

The course structure is very standard and the teachers are very helpful. The college also has a CDC that helps the student to prepare for various competitive exams. This is very helpful for the students.

The college provides many internships and research activities. You can arrange for internships on your own and the teachers can guide you in this. The college also arranges for internship and research activities.

Placement Experience

The placements are average and only very hardworking students get high packages. Here you can get average package of 3lacs per annum. The CDC train the students for placements and mainly mass recruitment happens here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is such that we had to pay 44000 rs for every semester and there was a certain amount taken at the time of admission. Here you can get financial aid with the help of your class 12th marks.

Campus Life

Life on campus is somewhat lavish. Here there is also an arrangement for extracurricular activities. Also, there are many clubs on our campus and those are very helpful. Life on our campus is very nice here one can enjoy college life.

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

Remarks:

This college is extremely good and known for its discipline and the stress it puts on the importance of studying. Also, there are many extra curricular activities thag one can take part in, and the teachers are helpful and encourages for a better future and are also vert capable. I opted for the course because any biology related course excites me and this college has one of the best faculty for this course.

A brief Review about my college

I searched for different colleges from sites like collegeduniya, there I found adequate number of fruitful and positive reviews about Adamas University. I saw other colleges as well, but from the point of view of my course, other colleges lacks laboratory support required for it and others are said to be lacking in faculty support. This made me choose this university where there is both laboratory and faculty support sufficiently. Also, this university provides a vast range of opportunities in all aspects as compared to the others. It also provides inter disciplinary courses for students. After gathering all the informations, this was a only college I approached directly and took admission.The admission process is generally via a Admission test called AUAT, other than that, direct admission is available on the basis of merit of higher secondary marks. Generally students with a percentage above 80 in higher secondary get chance of direct admission. Otherwise, they have to pass the AUAT exam with at least 60% marks....Read More
