Absolutely recommend Pune Business School to PGDM aspirants

Due to the pandemic, the complete admission procedure was conducted virtually. 1. Online application form through the college website i.e. www.punebusinessschool.com 2. Submission of entrance exam scores such as ATMA, CAT, MAT, MAH-CET, etc. (i applied through the ATMA score) 3. Interview through Zoom meeting which consisted of a few questions about me, my qualifications, interests, goals, preferred specialization followed by a 2 min speech on any current issue. To test my aptitude, I was asked to solve a few questions on the spot. 4. There are no reservation benefits. What I liked about the interview was that it was detailed and thorough. The interviewer gave me feedback & briefed me about my areas of improvement.

Before making a decision, I was confused between MBA & PGDM. To help me with it, I received help from Pune Business School (PBS). PGDM is a dynamic course that has an updated syllabus, industrial exposure, & gives corporate experience during the course. Hence, I landed the to decision of pursuing PGDM. College helped me understand the specialization i'd best suite in, which is Human Resources. Here at PBS, we have visiting faculties, the majority are Ph.D. holders which great experience & excellent teaching Methods. They not only guide us with academic knowledge but also with its practical application. The schedule is a bit hectic which gives us an experience of the corporate that we'll land up in the future. We have a concurrent continuous evaluation process which means we are evaluated on a continuous basis.

PGDM 2021 is the first batch of Pune Business School. As of now, the college has been helping students with internships in their preferred specialization. I have been selected at KPIT Technologies Pune as an HR trainee with a good stipend. The majority of the companies are MNCs. Students have been working on live projects for Amul, Outlook, United Phosphorus Limited (UPL), etc.

1. Fees: The total fee for the PGDM programme is Rs. 550,000/- which can be paid in installments. The college has a tie-up with HDFC band if students are willing to opt through a loan. It provides all the help required. In my opinion, I am satisfied with the fees as the faculties come from top management schools from Pune, we get to visit various companies such as Mapro, Army Base Camp 512, etc. 2. Internship: The college is doing its best to provide internships to all the students. Rather it is training students through their various personality enrichment courses which make then capable of the internships. Until now, companies such as KPIT Technologies, Infracloud, Agile Capital Services, UPL, Amul, Outlook, etc have hired students for Summer Internship Program.

As Pune Business School comes under the Pimpri-Chinchwad Education Trust, it is a sister institute to PCCOE, S.B Patil college of management, PCP, etc. Hence, we have a diversified campus. The infrastructure is good, the classrooms are air-conditioned with smart boards, etc. We have an excellent library, Basketball court, cricket field and much more.

The interview process was conducted virtually on Zoom. There was no Group Discussion. The personal Interview lasted for 30 minutes. Following are the details of the interview: 1. The interview started with a question about myself, qualifications, interests, hobbies, short-term & long-term goals, skills, etc. 2. I was asked a few questions about Human Resource Domain as it is my preferred specialization. 3. Followed by a few questions on current affairs. 4. I was given two aptitude questions to solve. 5. The interview ended with the interviewer asking me why I would be a good fit for the institute/ why should they select me. 6. Lastly, I was given feedback about how the interview went. The interviewer explained to me my areas of improvement. 7. Within two days I received a call for my selection.
