Pradeep V.G.'s Review On KKTM Government College, Kodungallur

I joined as a student in B.Sc polymer chemistry first batch of this college. I scored first class in the degree program. The cource was having a good curriculam which included it and maths as subsidiary subjects with specialization in polymer science.

As we were the first batch in the college as well as in university of calicut,we had teething issues in curriculam designs. But professors in this college was very good and helped us to excel on the subject and i believe now the curriculum and infrastructure is superb in this college for higher education.

Job opportunities are plenty in the field of polymer science and chemistry domains. Though i got diverted to the field of softwares,many of my friends became enterprenures in the plastic industry and working abroad in the polymer industries as the curriculam included it and maths as subsidiary subjects,students also got placements in it companies.

This college has many events to showcase your talents. Youth festivals,sports,study and pleasure trips etc. Are some of them. Historically, this college has high mature political environment which i believe help the students to develop individualism and theirown view points in social issues.

No, all major nationalised banks give education loans. As the cources in this college are approved by ugc and different universities, it is very easy to get the education loan from banks.

There are alumni forums and regular meetings happening now a days.online forums are also very active.

Normal yearly exams conducted by university of calicut.had practical exams for chemistry,polymer science and computer science. Project works are part of the studies and give students opportunity to score high marks. Viva exams are there in the final year. All these have been conducted in a centralizedway by the university. Assessments have been done by the faculties of other institutes.
