Remarks

First, we need to get a good score in the NEET UG exam. The cutoff for TNMC Mumbai was 623marks in NEET for general ppl. Then we've to apply for State or National counseling in which we have to select TNMC Nair hospital as a top priority. The application fees for general and OBC people are 1000rs. Then the merit list and admitted candidate's list come within 2 weeks after application. If you'll get the college then you've to go to college for your document verification and admission confirmation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I've chosen MBBS because it's the best and most novel profession to b done. The faculty here are best in teaching and sharing their experiences with patients and diseases. We got 5-6 teachers per subject. The term exams are every after 3 months then we get our prelims in December and University exams in February.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are 100% internship opportunities for all the students of our college. After the 5th semester, students will become interns and work side by side with senior doctors and experience the different diseases and patients. They learn about the actual life of a doctor and their responsibilities towards society. And hence enter into the noblest profession that one could have. We all know the contribution of doctors in this covid pandemic. There would be a short of words to describe their importance.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 5th semester, the students will do internships there and get paid upto 20000rs monthly. After that as a resident, we get 60000-80000rs per month. The residency is provided by our college as well as other colleges also, so the students get distributed. The highest package is 2.0 lakhs has been offered to senior doctors. In MBBS the placement ratio is highest at 99.9% because medicine is a profession that our country needs to work on for better medical facilities door to door to everyone. My plan after getting a degree is to master in Neurology and become a neurosurgeon.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee is 107330Rs for general candidates and 7330rs for all reserved candidates by applying for scholarship form from Mahadbt.com Maharashtra state site. Students can take study loans affiliated with our college also. In an internship, we are paid upto 20k and after that from 70k- 1.5lakhs.

Campus Life

4

We used to have SHRAVANSARI as our college fest every year. Though we made our centenary year in 2021. There are various clubs and associated fests also. We have a book club, dance club, art club, trek club, music club, tech club, and many more. We have well-air-conditioned classrooms with good quality benches, with a capacity of 150 students. We have many extracurricular activities and competitions. Also, we used to have LAKSHYA as an annual sports event in which almost all students participates. It's much more fun along with medicine.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We have our hostel 3.8 km away from our college so we used to travel through taxis which costs around 60rs in one way. The hostel is quite good with 2 girls in one room wid separate washrooms per room. We have dabbas for dinner from our nearby aunties and our breakfast and lunch is at TNMC canteen. The canteen has a variety of dishes in the menu, especially more than 10 varieties of paneer, Maggie there is my favorite though!! There's no such registration process specifically. The hostel charges are 4000 rs per year. The society (kapreshwar Krupa society) where our hostel is situated is the best I've ever seen. The festivals were celebrated with full joy. The nearby market is also very nice and affordable. It has all our daily needs of ours so that we don't have to go much far.

Other Applied Colleges

BJ medical college | MBBS

Because opportunities, academics and experiences are much better in Mumbai colleges.

After completing mbbs, student appears for neet pg exam which yet another challenge in a medico life. But with consistency, hardwork and also smartwork even cracking nest pg is possible.

College management is a little slow. Any work in the student section takes time however if there is a deadline for something the college makes sure that all the work is done on time and no student suffers any loss.
