Remarks

I literally, whole- heartedly love my college as it is very strict and qualitative in academic performance , thus it ranks 2 nd i maharashtra state. Negative remark is that our college doesn't have campus, it mostly has big hospital buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBBS academic curriculum is enough tough , theoretically more, but practical as well. This year onwards curriculum has been little bit changed by MCI , i.e it is now more practical based, which is really very beneficial. The exam structure is 2 terminal, 1 prelims( both are internal assessment) and 1 main MUHS university examination.

Placement Experience

4.5

As mbbs graduate the duty of Medical Officer (MO)is confirmed, but you can also go for other options such as UPSC, PG in various medical sub branches, lecturership in medical colleges or join any social working charity. Yes, our college provides internship as well as stipend, i don't have any experience of that as i am 1st year student in course.

College Events

4.5

There are major 4 events in our college 1) Shravansari- cultural event 2)Lakshya- sports event( mainly outdoor) 3)Swaasthik- health related, i.e. educational event 4)Aarambh- it is biggest of all , cultural+dance+ sports

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes the fees is feasible as it is government run college, it is 94700 for open category, For SEBC and EWS it is 47350 , for OBC, SC, ST it is 7000. For very poor economic background people , it may be hard to pay the sum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college offers TNMC GLOBAL ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP for economically weak students, i have also availed for it , as i am one of them. Other scholarship which i have availed are given by Maharashtra State, i.e Rajarshi Shahu maharaj scholarship and Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh hostel allowance scheme.

Campus Life

4.5

Inter college sports are held every year So for it every day evening there is practice for selected ones. Also various seminar are held which are truly very much informative Gymkhana is also available for fitness purpose.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes i have been alloted hostel by my college, Hostel infrastructure is enough good , also now a days refurnishing is going on, but the problem is that, it is situated far from college. Hostel rooms are being shared by 4 peoples nowadays because of sudden increase in amount of intake seats.

Alumni/Alumna

Yea our college is much. prestigious as it is one of the oldest medical institute i mumbai, thus it has TNMC GLOBAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, which donates various equipments to new students such as aprons, water cooler for pure water. Ragging is very negligible as compared to other colleges of maharashtra, i.e seniors are very helpful, and always there for needy situation.

Admission

I got admission in college through NEET medical entrance exam. The admission process for state quota is conducted by DMER Maharashtra. My marks in NEET exam were 576, which were enough good,i guess. Firstly state merit list is published and then College allotment list, this type it is completed.

Faculty

4.5

We have 3 type of faculty in 1st year of mbbs , they are 1) Anatomy2) Physiology3)Biochemistry whole faculties are very cooperative and also they are emphatetic , i.e they understand us in difficult situations. Just they are the best.

The course curriculum prepares the student very well for the medical knowledge and medical practice the course is designed in such a way to make the student knowledgeable and confident enough To practice medicine and treat them. Lectures , practicals , SLMs , PCTs, Prelims, annual exam And clinical postings Make the student very much aware of the medical knowledge That he or she is receiving. In third year the practical can be more engaging in my opinion Exam difficulty level is okay and It covers all the topics which are taught under given in the syllabus Which are needed to be there
