Remarks
The college management was very helpful. We still meet the college management during alumni meets and also at the time when we visit college. The still remember most of the students not by name but by face. They always greet the students with a smile. The college memories are unforgettable.
Entrance Preview
CET, I choose this course because I had interest in Finance and wanted a specialized course which would shape up my career going forward. After written examination we had group discussion and personal interview which was also a good experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was excellent. We had in all 22 subject in which 11 subjects were written and 11 subjects had only projects(Internal), First year was general which had subjects related to all specialization and second year had subjects according to specialization.
Internships Opportunities
We had 2 months of college internship. I had worked with Globeop for two months. I was offered a stipend of 3 thousand. Many companies came for interns. JP morgan, Globeop, Citi Bank, Nomura, Crisil, Zee TV, Sony TV, Etc. Stipend offered by the companies was 2500 to 5000 depending upon the company.
College Events
We had many event in our college. We had technical events in which all the students had to participate. The students were divided in Groups of 6 people in which they had to choose places for their business plan, every group were allotted some money which had to use for their business plan and they had to impress the investors to invest in the business plan.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provided a letter that you can present to the bank and avail loan facility. College do not provide loan. I had availed for education loan for which college provided a letter.
Hostel Facilities
We did not have hostel facilities. We have a canteen of our college where the food is good and the prices were also average. The PG rentals were 3000 to 4000 per person.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was hectic as we had 22 subjects to learn. We also had lots of pressure to prepare for exams also to reduce the pressure we had all the events where we can chill out. We had computer labs which we had to use for making projects and presentations.
Faculty
Every faculty was specialized in his Field, we had maximum of External faculty which had practical experience. They also shared their personal experience with us they faced. We also had a moc session for trading in one of our lectures.
