Remarks

Rizvi is a good college. However after talking to my other friends from other colleges I feel if you leave top 10 colleges rest of them dont have much difference in the quality of education.

Entrance Preview

I took CET exams and scored around 150. Chetna, Rizvi and IES is already what I had shortlisted. However my scores dint allowed me to choose Chetna and IES. So Rizvi was only left from options which I had already shortlisted.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum was vast. In Second year we had 21 subjects to learn including Theory and practical subjects. Practical subjects was more about enchaining soft skills and negotiations and getting aware of current topics which helped us to get prepare for interviews.

Internships Opportunities

Internship didnt went that good. We were hired by some insurance company and which wanted us to do some research. However the one who was responsible to help us with the research has to go for some business trip hence the research never happened. Only the good part was they never asked us to sell any insurance and yes off course no stipend. There was only one company on campus which offered stipend of 8-10K but yes that was sales profile.

Placement Experience

1

Placements was not good. Not many companies were available for placement for Finance on campus. Most of them never got a chance to go thru any campus interview. Nomura and MS were the two company who came on campus and they selected only 5 candidate out of bunch of 120 students and offered package bw 4-5 lacs.

College Events

3.5

There was this annual function which use to happen once in a two years. Which was more culture and performance based. Includes singing, dancing and ramp walk etc followed by price distribution. Other than that college took us for industrial visit to Goa for 3 nights four days which included industrial visit and other team bonding activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible and not very expensive. However I took education loan to finance my colleges fees which helped me a lot. Fee structure included education fees, industrial visit twice in 2 years and Blazer for campus interview.

Campus Life

2

I wont be able to tell you the gender ratio, but out of 60 students 10-12 were girls. Overall campus life was good. We use to spend 10-12 hours in college how ever was never get away from that environment.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Was never part of hostel facility. Was never part of hostel facility. Was never part of hostel facility. Was never part of hostel facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students was good but not that keen on sharing their experience. Few of them helped me with the jobs but actually coudnt line up for an interview.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs were hectic. We had to prepare and give presentation on a 2-3 topics in a day. Also get prepare for exams. We use to spend more than 12 hours in college. Theory subjects was in written as usual and other related to finance and accounting were online.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty was average I would say. For core subjects like finance, economics, marketing and quants we had experienced professors, however for rest we mostly had new/young lecturers.

Placements are good for a Tier 2 College . The Student Intake is huge so for that 12 LPA is a good average package . If we take the top 10 Percent students it rises above 15 LPA . Quality of Companies and the roles offered are good . Intership opportunities are also good.
