Eligibility criteria for the course diploma In engineering are 10th standard. Course application form is available on college website( www.dei.ac.in) only & all application forms are accepted only on online mode. The application fee per course is 250 & application forms are available on the website from April. Reservation for reserved categories is provided by government norms & regulations.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a technical & job oriented course. Faculty & student ratio is about 1:20. Very qualified faculty is available there & every teacher is master in their field. Class Tests two times in one semester & end semester exam at the last of the semester.

College provides us with an internship letter by filling which we can apply to any desirable company from which we can continue our internship, College is not associated with any company for internships. In a company we work under site or section engineer, we observe & work on minor tasks assigned by our senior engineer.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 5 semesters. A lot of companies visit the college for fresher including TATA motor, tata projects, l&t, ultratech, PNC Infratech, prism cement, darola sugar, TVS Motor, Maruti etc. For the post of junior engineer company offers a maximum of 320000 & average 280000. In some branches of diploma course got 100 % placement & some got average 70% placements. I want to go into higher education after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee per year is 8300. Duration, of course, is three years so the total course fee is 24,900 only. Students can participate in state or central government scholarship programs. No stipend basis job opportunities are available at the campus level.

Campus Life

Annual function, science exhibition & founders day & many more fest are organized at the university level. The library contains many course-related books but in the old version. Most of the types of sports are available & so many cultural activities are conducted on university level on weekly basis. The college participates In the NCC program.

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness.
