Oldest agriculture University of the country

Eligibility criteria are one should belong to a science background and at least scored 75 percent in their 12th exam, then they are eligible for the university selection examination. One can find the Application form and other details related to the courses on the official Website of SHUATS. Reservation benefits are only for Christian students. If someone scores more than 95 percent in their 12th board exam then they must be provided with direct admission.

I opted for BTech agriculture engineering as I found this course has a lot of scope in future, with less competition as compared to the other engineering branch till now. It's about 1:70 faculty-student ratio Almost all the faculty members are the PhD Dr's with a lot of teaching experience, they provide great quality of knowledge to the students on the other hand there are some faculty members who just don't want to teach they just focus on attendance and assignment. In every 6 months, end terms examinations are held, which are quite difficult to pass, but very useful for the students.

Tata Motors, Mahindra, netaferms are the major companies that offer internships for the students for different posts. Agro irrigation native project offered by the netaferms to the students around 100 students from our branch visit budhni Madhya Pradesh for the project work.

The campus placement record of the university is 40%, eligibility time for placement vary for each course, in BTech AG after the 7th semester one should be eligible for placement. Mahindra, Nestle, Parle, John dear etc are the major big companies visit for campus placement. The highest placement in the last year is 24LPA and the average package is 5LPA. I have planned to go for masters degree after graduation .

The fees structure of BTech agriculture engineering per year is around 124000 including all the academic charges, scholarship programs are only for Christian students and Uttar Pradesh bonafide students. It's about 40% of students got campus placement with a minimum package of 500000 per annum.

To be very honest, No annual fest is there in the nature of this university. some tech fest like Agri gyaan mela, Jacob micro fest is held twice a year. Each branch has there own library system with a vast number of books and journals, and a central library in the university campus is also there. Well furnished and ventilated smart classroom. Sports and athletic events are held every 4 months, a great opportunity for all the students who are participating. Dance club, photography club, CHRD club and many more are also there.

Hostel room are a big disappointment with food also , I have taken room in a hostel name international man's hostel ,but even fan in my room is not working properly . Mess food is pathetic , they are degradating their quality with each passing day. Hostel are allotted by the university , students have to fill form online or offline with their preference of hostel but decided by the hostel committee itself. Fees for my hostel room is 35000 per year which I think is very expensive as per the room condition.
