Entrance Preview

I took JEE MAINS. I scored 153. I choose this college for Interdisciplinary approach, great professors & reach oriented teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is a mix of IIT & French Ecole curriculum. All branches are treated equally for the first 2 years excepts for 1 course. We are given a lot of real life examples in class.

Internships Opportunities

We are the first so everyone still didn't get an internship. Around 7 students have done/are doing internship before the comencement of the 4th semister out of 230 students.

Placement Experience

Around 20 comapnies including 9 French companies came for the industry connect. Two students were offered an intership in NIT. One students was offered internship im Manipal.

College Events

College holds two cultural fests annually - mini Ecole Tyohar & Ecole Tyohar. Almost 70% of the students participate in these fests. These fests act as stress breakers aftet a lot of academics burden.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very expensive, i.e, around 5, 65, 000 per annum. The academic fee is around 4, 00, 000, gymkhana fee is 35, 000 and the rest is hostel and mess fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships upto 2, 00, 000 per annum for 30% students is given. Full loan facility is available for a low collateral.

Campus Life

1 girl per 3 boys, frequent hostel parties, frequent worlshops, enough cultural socities, politics is also present, middle to economic status. Most of the students are from the state of Andhra Predesh & Telangana.

Alumni/Alumna

We are the senior most students. As we are the first batch of the college we cannot comment on the seniors. We dont have any alumini yet. We are the first and the historic alumini of our college MEC.

Exam Structure

The exams are very well structured. The frequency is 3 general exams per semister. Some courses have around 2 quizzes per semister. Lab courses have 1 lab exam per semister.

Faculty

The Faculty are very good. Most of the faculty is from IITs and international universities. We have all except 1 Phd faculty. The faculty is from many countries like USA, Germany, France (obvioisly), Japan, Switzerlad, etc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

For Getting Admission into a post graduate degree like M.Pharmacy the candidate should have passed a four year Bachelors degree with 50% aggregate while 45% for Reserved category. If you fulfill the above criteria in the next step you have to apply for TS PGECET it is an entrance test conducted for admission into PG courses. This year Registrations are starting from April 12 2022.
