Entrance Preview

I qualified in UPTU entrance exam qith a score around 14000 and I selected this college because it was in my home town and I could save my hostel fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

When I was studying there there were only four branches of B. Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering. I completed with ECE.

Internships Opportunities

I dont think much companies came when I was there because that was the time of recession, even Satyam which came to my college was in its downfall.

College Events

There were few events celebrated there, in which Annual Function, Fresher's party, Software exhibition and other such competitions were involved. I even won 3rd price in Software exhibition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When i was there, it was really feasible, I think it must have increased since then but still its not that much I guess. At my time it was around 50-60 K per year ( two semester ).

Campus Life

There was no such things like gender or race orientation. We were all having fun together in every single way, either study or games, We were all participating like there is no such race or religion.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni and seniors were very helpful. They always helped us in each way, either its about study, or job search. I cant deny the fact that whatever we were, it was their help included.

Exam Structure

I cant say it was hectic but well exams never a cup of tea. They follow the same exam structure as UPTU, Three Mid terms and the finals, in each semester. I wont say its chill out but surely not that hard.

Faculty

Faculty here is good, they have good knowledge to share. Some of them are from good colleges. They are always supportive, and help to figure out best solutions you can have for a problem.

Placement Experience:

Government organizations like Cisr and Syneos Health are major conglomerate where we are placed. Still with lesser students we are not places that high and it's a shame because such a great university but still placements are in a way less as other branches have. 4-5 lakhs is what offered to Biotechnology students of IILM.

Number of students placed or percentage of placement is good but the average placement is lower and most of the students are getting placed at 3.5 lpa which is not decent. Students become eligible for placement in 4th year. Also number of good companies visit is decreasing

THE GCET DIARIES

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd and 4th year are eligible for placements. More than 150 companies offered 750+ Jobs. Almost 70% of the students in my branch has been placed. Highest package offered was 9PLA and the lowest was 3LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, PTC, Cleartrip, Jinko Contraction, GENX Consultancy Services, Airtel, CIty Union Bank, Emerson, Asix Bank and many more. Some of the students have taken the placement and some of them were invited to internship from 20k stipend to 40k stipend. If the student doesn't get college placement, he need to apply off campus for jobs. I will try to join a good job or start my own startup idea.

There are no placement opportunities for freshers but you can get enrolled in multiple courses for the development and from 2nd and 3rd year you can get intership programs CodingNinja and Infosys and many other companies visit the campus for placements , more than 150+ companies offer 750+ jobs 39 lpa was the highest placment for Autodesk and 3 lpa for TCS 50% students were placed on campus i will seek for a good package in a software developing company and will settle in a good city

The Placement percentage is more than 50% in our college as there are almost 2000+ freshers in our college in my batch there is 72 students . As of the previous data average package of our college is 4 to 6 LPA and the Highest package is 39 LPA by AutoDesk and the lowest package was 3 to 4 lakhs by TCS. There is more than 150+ companies offered more than 750+ jobs and the top recruiting companies are TCS ,Infosys,Airtel,cleartrip,autodesk,Jinko contracting,Axis Bank and many more.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 3rd year onwards. TCS, HCL adobe, flipkart, wipro, Infosys these are the main companies who have offered packages and 27 lpa was the highest packages. The offered around less than 500 students in one go. I am not sure about the placement percentage. After getting degree i want to start my own business.

the college is good and affordable fees for all

Placement Experience:

the placement of college is good because mid of 7th semester company visit in a campus and many comapnies are come in college like maruti suzuki, TATA, HERO motors,schlumberger ,crompton,tricolite ,cummins ,etc 40-50 company visit in campus and the heighest package is 12lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and the student have 60% in average of all 6 semester and 90% student have placed after the degree my plan is a good rank in GATE and masters from IIT colleges

My college life review

There are two modes of admission Direct and through counselling. Counselling gives you some fee reduction that's all. Reserved categories get guaranteed scholarship. After intermediate you are eligible to join the course. Some join the course only for degree. Admission can be through jee mains , cuet and also by management quota . Admissions starts in the month of April. Eligibility criteria for taking admission in this college, one must have at least 60% marks in 12th. It is the basic criteria for admission. This college is affiliated to AKTU Lucknow. It accepts students coming through CUET entrance test as well as direct admission (Management Quota).
