Remarks
You can start filling out your application form through the DEI website during the month of April-May. The application fee is around Rs.200. After that aptitude test will be conducted of 120 marks during the month of June. Those who score more than 33% on the aptitude test will be called for the interview process. After clearing your interview you'll get a message about joining the college. Reservations are for SC/ST they get some benefit in written exam and in intervies.
Course Curriculum Overview
The amount of fees charged by DEI is very less even a poor can stydy here. The quality of education is good. I choose this course because it was not very costly and the quality of education is good. The faculty staff is good, teaching methods are also good, proper regular classes for all subjects is conducted every day. Teachers provide daily assignments so that we can learn while doing assignments. Exams are conducted semester wise. In one year we have two semesters, each semester conduct 2 CT(Class Tests) and one External Exam. If we complete our assignments on time we can easily get passed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is given to students whose family's annual income is below Rs.100000. We have to pay semester wise fees of around Rs.2400. The course fee is very low. If we talk about campus placements, there are no placements available in this course. Hardly any company visit here for placements.
Campus Life
Only one fest is conducted here every year i.e 31 Jan (Open Day) where everybody is invited to college. Inter faculty sports competitions are also conducted here during winters. There are no social clubs, websites etc. If we talk about the library, the library is well maintained with all books available, Librarian can issue a book for you if you are needed for some days.
