Remarks

There is no entrance exam for admission. Students can take Addmission in Sal College via ACPC form or offline management quota. In ACPC addmission to Sal institute of technology and engineering research, you need to rank under 23000. You can fill up a form of ACPC via their website. If your ACPC rank is under 5000, you can get a TFWS seat for free.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like engineering, especially computer engineering, so I earlier decided to take addmission in computer engineering. And i take addmission in the Sal Engineering and Technical Institute, Ahemdabad. There are 60 students in one class(my number is 60). Facilities are good and experienced, some faculties have Dr. Degree. Two mid sem examination are conducted by the college and one GTU exam at end of the semester, if you do good preparation in mindset, you can pass the GTU exam easily.

Most of Gujarat colleges and GTU Universities and forein students like Sal engineering & technical institutions placements in 7th semester, and the 8th semester was of Internship. 30 to 40% students get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annually fees of college is 64,000/-. You have to pay fees of 32,000/- per semester. It is worthy from my personal experience. College has large campus. But college needs to improvement in campus placements.

Campus Life

Sal Engineering and Technical Institute college organized many extracurricular activities for students like sports like cricket, football, basketball. The college has cricket, football, and basketball ground. Some Students are in ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) group.

Placement of this college iss too good. When you come in 3rd you will be eligible for the placement drive. Companies like tcs, mnc, infoysis these are the come come in placement. Highest package of the university is 40 lpa and average placement is 8 lpa. 75% students got their dream job.

Placement Experience:

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

Itm Vocational University scam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be able to code which i really liked as i opted computer science in my optional in 10th. Itm provided international certifications and good subjects which later were changed and then no international certifications were done due to covid. The basic faculty to student ration was probably 1:10 . for every 10 students there was a faculty atleast for btech because it was only 50 students in our whole batch so there were no sections. All of our teaching faculty kept changing in each semester and basically were not qualified enough as some did not even complete masters or gave a gate exam. The teaching proscess were horrible because there were no computer facility provided and it was a scam to go to college for practicals because we would just play outside. no laptops allowed and there were no wifi spots to use net in our computer labs. The exams were also a pretty bad organised mess because they did not know what to teach in recurring subjects.
