Any Student with 55% in the commerce stream is eligible to apply for this course. The application fee is 1000INR, it is available in the official website of the University. Students who scored more than 85% in 12th grade get a scholarship upto 20% for each academic year. Admission process is easily done, if you have secured a seat, you get a call from a respective admin faculty member and you will be notified about that without any further due.

I chose this course because i was so much into commerce and business related studies rather than science. The faculty is pretty friendly to students. The faculty are highly qualified personnels who have vast knowledge on their teaching subject. Exam are termed as CT1>CT2>MODEL EXAM>SEMESTER. Class slip test are frequently conducted too. It's quite difficult to pass but if studied accordingly all the papers can be easily cleared

Recently a financial group offered internships for the 2nd year students with a stipend of 25000INR for 2 months. They seeked the students to assist them in their projects and their main goal was to make the students learn about the working space.

From the 2nd year students are offered internships, in 3rd year the placement process gets real, companies approach students with a one on one interview and take in them according to their performance. Prestigious companies like Wipro, cognizant,TCS,Amazon etc, have previously offered jobs.The average salary package offered is 3LPA. Students who get above 75% in the course are promised placements in the beginning of the course.

The tuition fee is 90,000INR but later pupils are asked to pay 20,000INR for Book fee and CDC. Fee is high compared to other colleges in Chennai. Students who have scored more than 85% in 12th grade are awarded with 20% scholarship. The university seeks many reputed companies to provide internship for the students. Many renowned companies offer internship with stipend upto 25000INR

Campus Life is very vibrant in SRM, almost every week there is an event taking place in the campus. The biggest cultural event conducted is Rampus, in the month of February. The library is very spacious and books are available are the working hours. Students can study in the library as per their wish. The classroom amenities are not very extraordinary, they only have regular classrooms . There are multiple clubs run by students like drama, singing, dancing, social club etc.
