Remarks

I have to fill the admission form from the college website by paying a certain application fee online. I cleared my JEE exam and then I appear for JOSAA counselling to secure my seat for the college. The college is among the top engineering college in India the college education quality and its placement depicts its success ratio so that is why I choose IIT BHU to complete my B.Tech program.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college was updated to meet the latest industrial regulation and the curriculum is the proper picture of theory and practical knowledge. We also have industrial visits twice every semester to understand mechanical technology and to understand the importance of engineering dynamics. The faculty is very experienced and a master of their field. The faculty of the college have completed their PhD degree from the best universities of India in a few faculty research work been published in international journal and they have been also awarded for their research activity.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is not only compulsory but we also have to submit the written assignments after completing the internship about our experiences as an intern. The average stipend for the internship is around 45k. The internship program of the college takes place at the end of every year and we have to attend the internship program after the second year.

Placement Experience

When it comes to the placement record as per my personal experience IIT BHU is one of the best colleges in India as the ROI of the college is very good. The college maintains a record of 100% placement and not only college maintain a good record but the placement offers of the college are very good the highest placement package is around 70 LPA and the average salary offer is around 20 LPA. These placement offers to determine the college placement standards and their quality.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college B.Tech program cost around 5.30 lakh but the college has a very good placement record as the average salary offer is around 20 LPA so you can determine the college ROI and the placement offer were the main reason for me to choose the college. The college also has some international scholarship programs like the Japanese Government Scholarship for Research Scholars, Korean Govt. Scholarship Programme, Chinese Govt. Scholarship and many more and national scholarship programs are Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Top Class education scheme for SC, National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST, State Scholarships and many. Campus Life

No doubt I have spent one of the best, moments of my life in college. The college infra is very good. The classrooms are designed in a very good manner that even the person seating at the last bench of the class can hear the teacher's voice very clearly. The college library is a very good place to be in as we can find all varieties of books special our academic books. The college also has sports facilities like badminton, basketball. volleyball and many more.

Hostel Facilities

At the price of 9000, the stay at the hostel is worth it. The rooms are fully furnished and designed in a way that we feel very comfortable;e and properly ventilated. The hostel maintains neatness and cleanliness very well. The hostel mess food quality is very good. The wardens are friendly and the hostel staff is very well trained to maintain the hostel discipline. The hostel security is very good. The hostel security is 24 hours available.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

I got mechanical engineering in IIT bhu because of my rank in jee advanced examination. I rejected civil of kanpur and chemical of ghuwati because of the superiority of mechanical over them . In terms of placement IIT bhu rank is now 2 after IIT kanpur that's one of the reason to choose it. Now I tell u about my admission process all the students alloted a date to submit documents and for hostel verification . Then on that day the allot us hostel room to stay. Then all students of different branches alloted different places to go and submit documents we go there and submit documents after a rush. Then they give us college id card with college stamp. A Good and Fruitful choice.

IIT BHU is known for it's religious and spiritual, Cultural environment. A number of fest take place. There are appx 10-11 DJ nights and pronight in a year. A total of 6-7 fest are done annually at large level and small fest are regular. This is the best thing of it. The mess quality is also better as compared to others.
