Entrance Preview

MHT CET entrance exam then selected through its cap rounds. First the important criteria is to clear pcm group then CET score is seen. Then as per the CET score colleges are sorted out then through cap rounds we are shown the available colleges and then college is selected and admission process is done.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil engineering is of 4 yrsIt consist of 8 semesters. Each year include 2 semisterIn each semister (submissions, orals, practical exam, vivas) are included Each semister have 5 subjects. Students have to clear all these term works.

Internships Opportunities

I am pursuing civil engineering be soo we don't have internship. Btech does have internship in last Sem Even architecture students have compulsory internship but be engineering students don't have internship. In holiday period students in there own interest may do internship for 1 month And it depends on the company where internship is doneSo it depends on them that how much general stipend is given.

Placement Experience

For civil engineering companies rarely arrives. Job opportunities are good but not through college.we have to get job through our own.

All the departments in our college have separate events and also our college have main gathering which includes students from all the departments ie engineering architecture bca mca pg students .

Fees and Financial Aid

All government scholarships are offered in MIT. Scholarships like EBC(economic backward class)quatas such as SC,ST vjnt and others are available in which government gives subsidy.

Exam Structure

It is balanced college schedule is neither hectic nor chilled out. But exams days are too hectic Preparatory leaves sometimes are very less so we have to study in less time.

Faculty

Faculty is a mixed bag experience faculty as well as many fresh and young faculty, Faculty from IIT, PhD from IIT, abroad are here. Even fresh and young faculty are given chance Quality of faculty is also compromised due to faculty need.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
